The rooms were clean and very nice. Had a great large, smart TV for my daughter. They had an amazing breakfast spread. The best I have seen. They had a little store with drinks and snacks, with self-checkout. The pool and the gym were awesome. They had a real gym not a treadmill and some dumbbells. The staff was so helpful and polite. I would stay here again. Please be aware that you will have to pay for parking every day though.

Nice spot within shuttle distance to the aquarium and walking distance to a nice park. Room was clean, free breakfast was good. Shuttle driver was great.

"The Hamp" is often my go-to hotel when traveling and this was one of the best ones I've been to -- super friendly and helpful staff, clean and fresh-feeling room, and definitely the best hot breakfast buffet I've experienced... the usual eggs and potatoes and waffle maker, but also a nice taste of the southwest with pulled pork one day, chicken tinga the next, plus corn and flour tortillas, salsa, hot sauce, crema and queso fresca. Oh and overnight oats (two varieties) too! Really great value and a convenient downtown location, with several terrific restaurants just a few blocks away. Just wish we'd been going to an Astros game during our stay... the stadium is right down the street too!

Absolutely lived this hotel. Only draw back was the fire alarm and evacuation around 130 am. Upon checkout the customer service rep Ivy i think was her name knee locked up and she repeatedly said Jesus F..k. Probably should refrain from that language as a representative of Hilton.

The most I’ve ever paid to not be able to sleep due to the outside noise. While there is an advertised hotel shuttle, it is very restricted and unreliable.

I cannot remember the valet’s name but he was very accommodating. The valet was calm but responsive during the fender bender between the two Metro buses. He checked on everyone and assessed the situation. Wolf was friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean and breakfast was great.
