Brighton Oasis of Calm seconds from the seafront and beach with an EnSuite Room
N.B. THIS IS NOT A SELF CONTAINED FLAT / APARTMENT OR HOUSE
On offer is a beautiful peaceful room in a house where the owners live.

FURTHERMORE, DURING YOUR STAY, WE WILL CONTINUE TO CLEAN ALL ACCESS ROUTES TO YOUR ROOM.
A bright, spacious and comfortable book lined house in a great location. Turn left and itâs just a minuteâs walk to the beach or right to the excellent independent shops & restaurants. The heart of the city & Kemptown and its lively night life are only a 15 / 20 minute walk along the sea front or a 5 minute bus or taxi ride away.
Built as a boathouse and service building c.1860, Ian & Matt have lovingly converted their mews style house into a warm, relaxed and stylish home which is a haven of retreat and calm.
The guest space looks out over traditional seaside buildings, cream and white architecture with iconic wrought iron stairs. Itâs a peaceful, light filled, double room at the rear of the house with its own luxury en-suite shower & steam room.

The house is on a small road to the side of Palmeira Square, leading down from Western Road (which leads directly in to the city centre) to the seafront.
Take a stroll along the seafront and only 8 / 10 minutes away (towards the centre) you will be at Regency Square with an old favorite of Brighton: The Regency, a terrific fish restaurant open early for breakfasts and all the way through until late for dinner.
Opposite is the new i360 observation tower, this is the worlds first vertical cable car and at 531ft the tallest moving observation tower.
On the lower level, housed in the famous seafront Kings Road Arches, on the beach you will another fantastic restaurant: Riddle & Finns. You can enjoy your meal on the alfresco terrace or with views of the beach from the dining room.
Along this entire walk from just prior to the i360 to the Brighton (Palace) Pier you will find the ghost like remains of the old West Pier, artists studios, galleries, artisan shops and cafes⊠not to forget the basketball and beach volley ball courts!
With your own keys you have 24hr access.
We don't provide breakfast as you are in a location and city with many excellent independently owned cafes and restaurants; for example, just around the corner from the house you have Salvage CafĂ© open daily for breakfast & Market open daily for lunch & dinner and at weekends breakfast/brunch also. Two very different establishments both worth a visit. Of course, you are most welcome to help yourself to as much tea or coffee from our large selection in the kitchen - great coffee from the Algerian Coffee Store & Bar Italia. Please remember you are on holiday; so no washing up⊠every thing into the dishwasher and hit the roadâŠ
Depending on work we may be around for your entire trip or passing on the stairs. We can point you in the right direction for information prior to your arrival and we will meet you when you arrive. We are contactable for anything you need and are happy to help you find what you want!
Traveling by train you can arrive into Brighton or Hove station. A direct bus service (No 6) from Brighton station will drop you at the top of the street. Taxis from either station will take only 5 mins and cost around ÂŁ5.80 - ÂŁ7.00 depending on the time of day.

Many of the streets and The Laines where you will want to explore have no access for vehicles.
Bus stops at the top of the street will connect you to all parts of the city. We have all the route maps and you can also find these on line in advance of your visit.
