Conveniently located near the Hualien train station. There are some restaurants near the train station, but not too many options. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, so keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise the room was clean and breakfast was decent.

Nice hotel, close to train station but in a quieter part of town The hotel is strange as we ended up staying across the road from where we checked in which we were told was the same property. I can’t comment on the building that we physically went to reception in only the one across the street. The building is very clean and well looked after. The shower could be modernised but other than that it was great

Conveniently located very near to Hualien station and on the same road as the Giant bike store (if you're on a cycling trip), clean, spacious rooms and super helpful staff. Quite far from the night market and restaurant area, and no dinner options are available for individual guests. (The banquet hall is reserved only for large Chinese groups)

Overall great deal

Overall great experience and had no issues. Rooms were clean and the hotel was not too far from Hualien train station. However it’s not close to the more popular areas of town and have limited restaurant selections nearby. Considering the price, this is still a good choice.

Great value for your money

I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel. The location is good, as it is very close to the railway station and to the buses going to Taroko. Rooms are big and very comfortable, and the staff very helpful and nice. I definitely can recommend this hotel!

Great location close to transportation

KKS Hotel was a very clean comfortable stay. The proximity of the train station and to the Taroko shuttle stop was perfect for us - we were able to go from the train station straight to our hotel to leave our luggage at the hotel and hop right on the bus to the gorge. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, although English was limited. One of the concierges who was working in the evening (didn't get his name!) spoke good English and gave us great directions and tourist info. He was incredibly helpful and friendly. Refrigerator in the room was very convenient, and the obvious upgrades in interior were nice. The hotel (and this whole area) is under the landing flight path of the fighter jets though, which was rather noisy (we were on the 7th floor). The night market in Hualien is amazing - spacious, cleaner, more lively and less crowded than Taipei markets.

The pictures of hotel in here looked that they have a gym and breakfast for buffet but it doesn’t have any gym and they didn’t inform us during the check in and when I ask them , they said it’s under construction. And they let us stay another building which I have different pictures of booking because no guests. What a worst experience here. Fxxxx
