Loved it ,everything in the room you might need was there, bed and pillows comfy We dined there and the service was quick and food just how you want it and hot . We loved the history of the building and we would love to go again soon hopefully

Property a historic one, so inside and out reflects this...needs some tlc and a bit of thought for less able like grab rails in the bathroom. Our room was clean and quiet, a fan had been put in and duvets removed because it was so hot, very thoughtful. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We would stay there again.

Unfortunately, the hotel is well past its prime and needs a complete refurb. Shame, as it's a nice building and conveniently located in the town centre. Staff are excellent, though, and the food is OK.

DÄrlig standard pÄ rommene og alt knirker. Senga var grei. Det er fullt av kalk overalt, vask og toalett var brunt av slitasje og vifta pÄ badet hÞrtes ut som en dieselmotor. Gangene var som Ä gÄ pÄ en bÄt med dÄrlig vÊr. Ikke veldig imponert, men er sentral beliggenhet og gode parkeringsmuligheter, sÄ det funker dersom det er det viktigste.

As soon as we walked in the front door wanted to leave,there was scaffolding all up the stairs and when we got to our room it was unreal the floor was not safe for older people it was like it had a hill in the middle. They shouldnt be letting rooms at the prices they are asking when in the middle of a major refurbishment and the breakfast wasnt worth the ÂŁ12.50 they charged could av got better just up the road at weatherspoons for half the price.i would recommend steering clear till all the works have been done .

I really enjoyed my stay at the George. In historic listed buildings there are always maintenance works to be done and I was impressed how well the refurbishment works, currently being carried out, were being undertaken with consideration and minimal impact on guests. But then on the other hand you can stay somewhere with character. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful which made my stay really memorable and enjoyable. My room was good and comfortable with very comfortable bed and good bathroom. The food was excellent both evening meal and the breakfast. I would definitely book to stay at the George again when next in the Huntingdon area. Many thanks again to the staff for their kindness and interesting conversations.

El hotel tiene su encanto, pero falta un ascensor lo cual cree dificultades con el equipaje para una persona mayor. El cuarto de baño necesita una ducha movible. Sólo había desayuno continental por problemas en la cocina. Creo que es caro por lo que se ofrece.

Not even fit for illegal migrants

I wouldn’t even put illegal migrants in here , paint falling off windows carpets look dirty , MOULD on the bathroom ceiling , no food available , not even the breakfast that’s supposed to be included , if it wasn’t the fact that we prepaid id have walked out and found a better hotel , avoid if you can
