This cottage has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a king bed, a living room with a couch and two arm chairs, a kitchen and small bathroom. There is ample natural light offering views of the meadows and mountains. The back porch has seating and is adjacent to a fire pit. The property has hundreds of acres to explore and a pond just out the back door. Skiers will enjoy the short drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Bolton. This rental is in the country which means you will likely encounter; views of the stars on clear nights, fresh air, delicious mountain water, roaming deer and the occasional ladybug.

A place for peace and quiet in the country -- lovely Green Mountain view and starry sky at night. The sleeping loft is comfy, but can be challenging to access. All the comforts of home with wifi and Roku tv, loads of books and games if you need other distractions. You're in the country -- bring provisions, it's a bit of a drive to the nearest grocery or restaurants. There are some nice restaurants within 20-30 minute drive. It's a remarkably brief drive to BTV airport considering how rural the location feels. A very short drive to the Beane Trail trailhead.

Wife and I will probably book this amazing little cottage for all trips to Vermont. Cottage in country with Amazing Views, that’s what my wife and I wanted, and we couldn’t have imagined finding a better place.

Perfect Location, Adorable Space, Poorly Cleaned

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the inside of the home. While the vibes and location were immaculate, the inside of the home was really only surface-cleaned. There were an egregious amount of spider webs, spiders, and cobwebs all throughout the space, the shower still had used bars of soap in it as well as hair, the coffee pot (seemed) like it hadn't been cleaned (not sure if it was stained or just filthy). I would absolutely stay here again, but, I'd have to bring a duster with me to clean the space before I stayed. The lock also did not work, the host provided a code to lock the door, but, we tried many times and were unable to get the lock to actually work. We pushed a table in front of the door at night for security
