OPEN YEAR ROUND! Quiet and Cozy Lake House Cottage on Tecumseh Island Channel! Dock included! Perfect get away for groups of all sizes! Best Location on the Lake, Great Views all around! Beautiful remodel, stylish decor. 3 Bedrooms, comfortably sleeps 10! Quartz Counters, Recessed Lighting, Electric Fireplace. Amenities include Sleeper Sectional, 4K HD TVs w ROKU. High-Speed Internet, Keurig Coffee Maker w/ Complimentary K-Cups, Microwave, Refrigerator, Oven/Stove, Fully Furnished Kitchen.

Relax inside in front of the fire w/ large selection of games, movies, 4K TV w/ Roku (1000s of channels, movies, and TV episodes) or venture out and explore the islands and all Indian Lake has to offer! House has plenty of parking to bring your Boat/Jetski's/RV. Public ramp/docks less than a minute from the house at Pew Island. Best location on the lake, steps from the water! Channel front lot on Tecumseh Island. Kitchen is fully furnished. Located around the corner from the Paradune Boat rental. Launch kayaks/canoes, go fishing or swimming in the canal, take walks, ride bikes, or just enjoy the surrounding lake views. A short walk from the Pew Island Trail; a one-mile path that encircles Pew Island and offers a spectacular view of Indian Lake. Pew Island also offers public parking, boat ramps, public docks, picnic areas with charcoal grills, and fishing access. Also less than 1 mile from the famed Cranberry Resort, lakefront bar/grill.

Your cleaning fee pays for thorough cleaning/sanitation of all floors, counters, bathrooms, and linen service. In order to keep this fee to a minimum, guests are still expected to perform the following:

1) Please empty all (perishable) food/beverages from refrigerator/freezer and cupboards.
2) Please wash any used dishes. You may leave in strainer or dry and place in cupboards.
3) Please empty all trash. Trash must be bagged and placed in the large receptacle located in the driveway. Please do not leave trash on the front porch or in garage.

Guest reminder: Neighboring homes are private property and we ask guests to please not trespass or infringe on neighbors enjoyment of the lake. Parking at the home is limited to 4 vehicles or 3 vehicles + 1 trailer. Anything to the east of the carport or west of the white picket fence is neighboring property and parking is not permitted. If you have additional vehicles they can be parked at Pew Island Recreation Area about 1 minute drive north of the home. Also we ask that guests please keep outside noise to a minimum after dusk.

This is my first Vrbo rental and it was much more than expected. I brought towels, spices, toiletries - all of which I found were included in the home. And our grandson who lives to fish loved that he could literally go out the back door to the canal! Very clean- we will definitely be back!

The cottage had ants in the kitchen and bathroom. They were in the kitchen drawers and counters- stopped counting after killing 96- Had to hang our snacks in shopping bags on the coat rack to keep the ants out. Areas of the cottage were not clean. It was a very disappointing stay- we saved for months for this- it was our Christmas gift to each other.

Girls weekend

The house was great but it does lack kitchen supplies, things like a pizza pan, wine opener or dish rags. There were used sponges but no new or clean kitchen rags. We enjoyed the new fire pit area in the back. This is the 2nd time we rented and we will hopefully rent it again.

Great Spot

Stayed here for an extended weekend with some friends. The house is in a great location and has everything you need. Boat dock was convenient for family to boat over to us and the channel it is on is very private and quite.

Wonderful experience

The home was very nice. Even though it rained most of the week end the place was stocked with plenty of games for our use and enough room inside that everyone didn't feel crowded. I would highly recommend this place. If I had any critiquing it would be to update the mattress' and clean the yard up. But none of this would deviate us from renting again.

Get away

House was nice, wish kitchen had pizza pan and/or pizza cutter, and there could have been some dish rags and towels and even though they mention it within the house, the ants were bad, as they were always crawling on us as we were sitting in the living, even though we were careful with not leaving food or having food crumbs. However, all in all the house was great to stay in, very peaceful.

Not exactly as described

This home looks beautiful via the post, but once you get there, the property leaves much to be desired. Starting our stay, we dealt with immediate parking issues. The next-door neighbor's driveway entry is directed into the VRBO limited parking, so we were constantly playing Tetris to ensure the neighbor wasn’t blocked in. That’s something that should be disclosed on the listing, instead they waited until they gave us the key combination and check in instructions. This house has parking for two cars at most. As soon as we walked in, we were met with bugs resting on the ceiling. After some time, we had them all killed, and as long as the doors weren’t left open, we could keep that problem at bay. The beds were ancient or the cheapest quality you could buy. The couch was newer but not very comfortable at all. However, I think it was more comfortable than the bed option. Luckily, we spent most of our time fishing off the dock, which was the only saving grace for this home. The yard was cluttered with debris, the chairs were splintering, and the fabric/netted material chairs had rips in them, leaving us all wondering if they should even be used. The last noted issue was the poorly kept boat dock. The wood seemed to be rotting all around it.

The property was remodeled nicely inside and provided all the needed toiletries and items needed to cook. The bed mattresses were very old and worn, as well as the couch. The outside was not maintained at all. The wooden chairs would have splintered you had you sat on them and the picnic table was broken. There was a lot of debris in the yard.
