The room is very nice and clean. The environment is beautiful. The only complain is the check-in. The front desk closed at 5 pm o'clock. It took me quite sometime to figure out where my room was when I arrived at 7 pm. It was totally dark and no parking near my room.

The inside of the cabin was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. I think the outside of the cabins need a facelift though. Would suggest putting railings on the steps to the cabins, and grab bars in the tubs. Reception very friendly and helpful. Food truck awesome.

The cabin’s setting is absolutely stunning, with an incredible view — but the amenities were very minimal. For the price point, I would have expected at least basic essentials like plates and silverware to use with the kitchenette. The leftover pasta I brought to reheat for dinner went to waste. The provided coffee kit was very low quality, and the soaps and toiletries provided were pretty much useless. There’s a fireplace, but no firewood or tools to start a fire, and the office was already closed by the time I arrived. The bath towels are tiny. Jacuzzi tub jets were falling off. The lack of provisions in the room made it feel more like a budget motel stay.

Such a nice spot, close to Huntsville and the Park. The lake is very peaceful, great spot to unwind. We've stayed here 2 years in a row and will be back.

Good Vacation

We enjoyed the accommodation, the property and the relaxation. The kitchen in the unit olus the dog park were a great help. A couple of suggestions: 1.There was no stopper for kitchen sink to wash dishes. Very inconvenient. 2. There was no egg lifter 3 No salt and paper which are usually supplied. One big disappointment - the picture shown for our cabim included an easy chair, It was not there! I had checked this ahead of time as my husband has a problem sitt8ng on a couch. We were happy it was included but it wasn't!

Great location. Cooking equipment needed to be updated. They are making a concerted effort to upgrade all the units and are well on the way to doing that. Proximity to Peninsula lake. Local walking trails were wonderful. Near to Huntsville for shopping and Erica’s at Dwight for coffee and treats.

The location was great. Staff was very responsive and made sure they answered my concerns as soon as possible. The cabins/cottages are a bit dated but overall it was nice. The lake was great too and the property was located in a very peaceful serene environment.

We loved the property. It is in a beautiful location....located on and facing Peninsula Lake. The property seemed like it had some historical significance as well and reminded me of simpler times spent with my dad. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. It's a great place to relax in peace and quiet and also enjoy the beautiful areas nearby for good hiking and canoeing. Thank you Tally Ho.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Spacious living room with a nice fireplace. Property was well kept with beautiful trees and a lovely beach. Lots of out door seating and fire pits.
