Enjoy the best spot on Wheeler Lake! Beaituful property on 4.5 acres of private space. Plenty of space for everyone with 6 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms downstairs and two upstairs lofts. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch rocking chairs. Bring your boat or rent one at nearby Lucy’s Branch just 13min away. Make memories on the private dock and see why Wheeler Lake is known as one of the best fishing spots in Alabama. Finish the night grilling out on the gazebo.

Please be aware that the stairs to the two upstairs lofts are very steep and might not be suitable for small children or adults with limited mobility. There are no bathrooms upstairs but there is a full bathroom at the base of each loft stairs.

Guests are welcome to access the entire house, the outdoor areas including the gazebo, and the dock. There is one open boat slips on the dock for guests to use.

The house was amazing and there was so much room for me and my family. There were eighteen of us and we all fit comfortably. Everything was stocked really well. I have never rented a place where so much was provided. The kitchen was completely stocked! We had a blast and can’t wait to go back!

The good times gang from South East Louisiana

This lake house is absolutely beautiful and had plenty enough room for our group of 14 adults ! We enjoyed the peaceful scenery from the porch rocking chairs , catching nice big catfish right off the boat dock and gathering in the large open living/dining room space for the many meals we cooked ! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need to make a meal except large pots ! Thankfully we brought our own so that was not a problem ! The only recommendation would be to trim the lower branches on the trees for a better view of the water ! We had a great time and would love to stay there again

We Had a wonderful time such a beautiful location plenty of room for everyone. Everything was so green the kids thought it was a jungle. My only suggestion is exterior lawn maintenance grass was overgrown sidewalks and patio areas needed some upkeep. Definitely not a deal breaker we hope to come again. Thank you for having us

Family Gathering

This property is amazing!! A very private cabin sitting on a large river front lot, which features panoramic views of the Tennessee River. The property features an extremely nice, two-bay covered boat dock, just steps from the cabin. Although we were there to celebrate Christmas with our family, we would love to come back this summer with the boat!!We had a party of 16, adults and teenagers. There was more than enough room, with 6 bedrooms and two seperate lofts for the kids.Communication with the host was met with a response within minutes, which I really appreciate. I would recommend this property, and hope that we return.

Wonderful place to stay for a large group!!

If you’re looking for a large home with plenty of space, this is it. We met over the weekend for our family Christmas, several families and there was plenty space for everyone. Beautiful lakefront view but also reminds you of being in the mountains. House has everything you need. We will definitely be back.

Easy Breezy Stay on Wheeler Lake

Brought a group to enjoy the weekend. Lots of flexibility with all the rooms. The kitchen was well equipped (better than most). The dock was an easy walk and enjoyable spot for views and relaxing.

Wonderful Stay for our Leadership Retreat!!!

This is the 2nd year we've utilized this property for our church leadership/planning retreat. We enjoy the location, tranquility and outdoor spaces this property offers. The dock is great for fishing or just relaxing, and the house itself is wonderful for large groups. We plan to make this an annual stop for our leaders and to even extend it a day longer next year. Excellent communication response from the property manager - always quick to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Our group enjoyed our stay in this roomy lake front home. Nina was very prompt and helpful with any questions. The stairs to the lofts are very steep but we did have 3-4 that managed them. It would also be great if there was more lighting in the beautiful great room.

Friend Yearly Trip

We absolutely loved this property: the lake, the location, the house size, the 2 refrigerators, the amount of land that allowed us to set up a bouncy house for the kids and the amount if parking. Relaxing views, especially for sunrise yoga/pilates. The only thing would be the outside spider webs, yes its a wooded lot so nothing much to complain about in those circumstances. Overall, owner was very responsive and it was a great stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! The home was exactly the size we needed. The owners thought of everything. There was a portable crib and high chair for the baby. The bedrooms were perfect. We used the rockers on the porch a lot. There were two refrigerators to hold all of the food. We enjoyed the size of the beautiful kitchen table to play games all day and night. The kids enjoyed the outdoor patio and gazebo. And several fish were caught off the dock!! The only thing that we had to do on our own was find a way to get rid of all the spider webs outside. Also, it was mayfly season. Really those things were beyond the owners’ control.

Wonderful retreat in the woods

We loved this place from the drive in to checkout process and everything in between. It's a beautiful setting with all the things we needed to cook and enjoy the cabin. We had 18 women and fit comfortably. The step i stairs are no joke, more like a ladder. Lots of bathrooms! We loved that the living room opened with 4 sets of French doors to the deck facing the lake. The host Nina was quick to answer questions. Overall wonderful stay!
