We found our stay to be faultless. 5 * would absolutely recommend. The proprietor met us on arrival was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, lovely homely feel. The whole property was spotless and everything had been well thought out for guests. Breakfast was included and cooked to order, again faultless in selection and availability, with extra special items available on request. Also the addition of secure and gated entrance to the property and parking, made for that extra peace of mind. So we could concentrate on enjoying ourselves at the event we attended. We will definitely be back.

Susan our host was warm and welcoming, the property was beautiful and our room was really nice. The breakfast was gorgeous! We come to Ibstock to visit our friends for their Christmas party every year and this was the first time we'd chosen to find somewhere else to stay. Needless to say, we'll be making a stay at The Post House part of our annual tradition and we're looking forward to staying again next year!

Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. Thoroughly recommended.

Highly recommended

Had a 2 night stay for our visit to Donington Park for the BTCC. The Post House is of a high standard with clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast is really good and we were pleased to have secure on site parking. Highly recommended.
