The staff were all very friendly and kind in all interactions. The first appearance seems to be an older hotel that has been renovated, but still appears a little on the run down side. However, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well. The breakfast the next morning was very nice with a fresh omelet bar staffed by a very efficient and friendly cook. The other foods available were also good and the fresh muffins were much better than typically found at similar venues. With the hotel located right next to the river walk, a nice walk on a beautiful fall morning was just what we needed to start the day. We didn't check out the pool or exercise facilities. We were only there overnight, but I would definitely consider returning, especially for the breakfast!

This is a great fun place to stay. Unfortunately, my rook smelled a bit like mildew, which my candle helped with. The breakfast was great! Easy, convenient parking and a beautiful river walk‼️

Horrible motel!!!

The room smelled like urine, the bed was uncomfortable. Hotel was extremely noisy. The towels were filthy. Not sure I can say anything positive about this place except that the location is great.

We appreciated the made to order eggs & other hot breakfast items. The beds were more firm than I like, but the bedding was comfortable. Everything was clean. Hello. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every. Single. Staff member we came across was welcoming and friendly. We felt appreciated and valued. The complementary hot breakfast, bikes, fresh cookies, and the 24 hour access hot tub (gorgeous, btw) were unexpected treats that we enjoyed very much. Thank you for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Driftwood stay

Our Driftwood room was clean and comfortable. It’s in a perfect location. The pool was a luxury, fun and relaxing. Breakfast was a delight. Lots of options, clean, delicious and the service was incredible. We will definitely go back.

The good: the location is great being right on the river, the breakfast was amazing, the hot tub was large and really nice, the room was large. The not so good: parking lot is so tiny, the pool is on the other side of the property so you have to walk around the whole hotel to get there, the room felt dingy and old, the price was way too much for the quality of hotel.

Great stay!!!

My wife and I stopped here on our way home from a 7 day camping trip in Yellowstone National Park. We were in much need of a comfortable bed, shower and a good nights sleep. Driftwood inn checked all the boxes. Beautiful setting, very clean and updated rooms, and outstanding staff….and the breakfast the next morning was the best I have had in a motel of this caliber. Quality was good and fresh. I’m not sure what her name is , but one staff member in particular ( she looks very much like Elisabeth Shue…..Ralph Macchio’s girlfriend in Karate Kid) has customer service perfected. She helped me check in and was working the omelette grill the next morning at breakfast. She was very accommodating, polite, and eager to please. She cheerfully takes the time to visit with guests and double checks on you to see if you need anything. Not sure what her name is but she deserves a raise! A plus service. When we are in idaho falls again we will surely stay here again!
