    Welcoming retreat

    We stayed at Chevin so we could visit our daughter in Leeds, but we were unable to get a room in the centre due to everywhere being booked for the marathon. We were very pleasantly surprised by the guesthouse. The views from the window were fantastic as was the service from Nicki, who was very friendly and went out of her way to make us welcome. We booked through the Tesco club card scheme, which made it excellent value for money. The breakfast was also excellent. Would stay there again.

    Nice stay, rooms could be a bit better.

    Nice place in a great location. The room I was in could have done with a bit of modernisation as it was a bit drab. Oddly, the fire safety light above the door to the room was very bright which cancelled out the benefits of the blackout curtains, and obviously couldn't be switched off. Bathroom was a big wet room, with a small sinm. The water pressure was great Lots of parking out front, and the added benefit of a car charging point which cost £20 for an overnight charge. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during my overnight stay and would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

    The owner was very friendly and went out of the way to make our stay lovely . We asked for a bottle of wine and she came back with wine glasses & ice and a very chilled bottle . They were very accommodating when we departed later the next morning as our taxi was arriving about 90 mins after we should have checked out . Would def stay again .

    Amazing little place, loads of walking routes if you an outdoors person. Breakfast was included in the price and was the best part about this stay, it was lovely and there was plenty of choice. Thank you again for this amazing family experience.

    Lovely one night stay at Chevin End

    Great one night stay, very friendly and easy check in. Went for a walk across the Chevin with friends also staying at the guesthouse. Nice drink in the pub afterwards before checking in. Great to relax in the room with an amazing view from the room and the balcony outside. Very quiet room even with neighbours either side, didn't hear a thing. Lots of parking and easy taxis to travel around in the evening. Powerful shower and full cooked breakfast in the morning.

    Was convenient for travelling to Pool in Wharfedale for a New Years Eve dance. Warm spacious room with comfy bed. Lovely breakfast before leaving. Would recommend.

    Very quiet with wonderful views over the Wharfe valley. Friendly welcome with minimum of fuss. The room was clean and had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Will certainly consider staying there again in the future.

    The Chevin End guest house is very clean, pleasantly decorated with easy ample parking in a very clean yard. Breakfast was superb even for vegetarians. The surrounding views is absolutely stunning. Nikki and her team do a brilliant job with keeping all their guests happy ensuring they have an enjoyable stay. The Chevin End is really a jewel in yorkshire!
