When I got to the condo after 8 hours of driving I called to get instructions on how to get in. I was told he had no reservation and that he had cancelled hisVRBO account months ago. I had just received an email the day before stating “here are your keys”. I had a very stressful several minutes waiting on a call back. He then told me he had a friend that had a place we could stay. I didn’t feel that I had a choice because I was 8 hours from home and all hotels were booked for the cheer competition we were in town for. When I spoke to the friend they had me rn all over the building looking for a key. This made me feel not so safe that there could be multiple keys to my door all over the building. There were no keys. When I called the friend back they said they would come bring me one. About an hour after all this she showed up with a key. This was the worst experience I have ever had through this site.

I checked in on Monday and immediately noticed the unit was not as advertised. The apartment had a strong smell of marijuana, the floors and surfaces were visibly dirty, and even the hallway floors leading to the unit were extremely dirty. It didn’t match the listing at all and didn’t feel sanitary or safe to stay in.I reached out to the host several times with no response. Because of the condition of the unit and the lack of communication, I checked out the next day. I’ve also opened a case with VRBO regarding the situation.This experience was disappointing and I hope future guests are made aware of these issues.

Other reviews made it seem like getting in the place was going to be extremely difficult, which was not the case! Getting into the parking deck and finding the room was super simple. The apartment was clean and perfect for really just needing a place to sleep and get cleaned up. Everything was as described and I would for sure stay here again if I was ever back in Indy.

The place was clean to the eye but I killed about 5 roaches while there, 3 were in bathroom! Left Sunday morning an stayed elsewhere had enough of roaches.... I'd advise a service to get rid of em!!!

Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay. The bed seemed smaller in person, and it wasn’t very comfortable at all. The location was wonderful as we could walk to Everwise amphitheater in 25 minutes, which saved us a lot of time not having to deal with traffic after our concert. While I understand that some guest may steal things during their stay, this apartment was equipped with a very bare minimum. Absolutely no toiletries, so be prepared to bring your own. Also, there was very minimal cookware and utensils. Not even a spatula, which made scrambled eggs tricky. There was also no remote to the TV, which made us miss sporting events that we wanted to watch. The keys were not in the lock box when we arrived, but the host fixed that very promptly. I would probably stay there again just for the location.

We decided to take a chance on this property because it was walking distance along the canal to the venue for a concert. The day of our check in, I got a message from the host that we were staying in a completely different location. Said due to "water damage". I dont believe that at all and if so why wait until the day of our stay to let us know. Other reviewers have mentioned similar experiences, changing locations last minute, Believe It! Luckily the relocation was to a pretty decent apartment. But it was significantly farther of a walk to our concert. So we had to factor in an uber ride an unexpected extra cost. Also there was no toilet seat on the toilet when we arrived! At least the host did have the staff come and replace it promptly, but it was very unsteady and skakey. Also the new location was very difficult to get in&out had to call host and stay on phone for them to buzz us into garage, building & elevators. Overall the apartment we were given was adequate, but the added stress to the trip was a huge negative. Will NOT stay with this host again.

The suite was comfortable, pool and game room on fourth floor of the relocated place was nice. Bed was comfortable, 3 shower towels in the bathroom were pretty small, thin and about the only down side.

This property, while in a decent area along the canal, probably the best aspect of the property, is not worth the price. The pool isn’t accessible at all, as in, it’s permanently closed. Lots of damage throughout the building itself. Prior to checking in, received a message that said we would be getting an apartment “similar” with the same layout as the listed property as there was “water damage.” The lockbox fell off the wall in my hand as I was taking the key out. The building itself is very confusing in regards to the signs to direct you to the unit. There was a broken futon, a tv with no remote, exposed lightbulbs, a smell of weed that never disappeared the entire weekend, and a mostly burnt candle with no way to light it. Walking into the unit, it was almost 80 degrees, as the installed A/C was broken, with a window unit not large enough to properly cool the entire apartment. The bed was very uncomfortable and smelled like stale clothes that hadn’t been dried properly, could be from the weed smell though, who knows. The host was quick to respond to my message regarding the lockbox, but when I asked about the remote for the tv, the response was received well after checkout time. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend!!!

The apartness’s nice. We apparently cannot follow directions after midnight concerning getting to the apartment. Getting the key that late was a bit scary too. Easy to get in and out of the garage and it is locked. The bed was horrible because it was very hard. We couldn’t find the volume on the TV remote and then felt stupid when we located it.
