Casa Cayuga is our beautiful Cayuga Lake property in Upstate NY! Modern appliances, bedding and towels are all available for your use. Our dock gets you on the lake so bring your swimwear and fishing poles!

Located in the center of NY State's wine country and multiple state parks; 25 minutes north of Ithaca, NY and the Cornell University campus

We have two acres of lake front space including a front and back lawn, 150’ of lake front and a private dock

A Fun Friends' Weekend!

We are a group of college friends who've all known each other for about 50 years. Each year we abandon our spouses, kids and grandkids for a long weekend away. We've been coming to the Finger Lakes for the past 7 years but this was our first stay on Cayuga and it was delightful! The house is very comfortable, the kitchen extremely well equipped and the location was perfect to support our primary activity -- wine tasting! We also appreciated having 3 full baths, all of which came with fluffy towels and nice bath products. We all agreed Cayuga is now our favorite lake and the dock was a perfect place to enjoy it! Just a couple of things to be aware of: 1. The listing needs to be updated to indicate all the upstairs bedrooms, as well as the first floor are air conditioned, however the basement bedroom is not. 2. You'll want to be wearing slip on shoes as the house rules indicate no shoes in the house - you'll need to leave them on the enclosed front porch - so stopping to tie/untie shoes before entering would get old quick! 3. The house is set up perfectly for a family with kids. For a group of adults like us, a small mirror in each bedroom (even the "kid's" rooms) would be much appreciated. All in all a very pleasant stay in a very nice home!

This was our 2nd annual trip to this property, and I'm happy to say we've found our "go-to" place going forward. This house is spacious, comfortable, convenient, and well-kept. Hosts are awesome, dock is great, tons of outdoor space. All positives, no negatives. A+++

Lovely house by the lake!

The perfect place to gather with my friends around the eclipse. Had everything we needed, very functional kitchen, enjoyable artwork around the house, and a great view. Check out the birds in the back yard in the morning! Owners were very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Great house, very clean, beautiful location

Nicely laid out and well appointed home located on a quiet, walkable road next to the lake. The house was so clean that our socks stayed white even after walking around the house all evening. An easy drive to restaurants and wineries. Fairly close to Ithaca and Watkins Glen. We usually swam at a friend’s place nearby but did go swimming off the beach and dock at the house - water was clear and calm and the stones and rocks were smooth. We plan to stay here again.

Perfect base to enjoy the wonderful region

Our stay at Casa Cayuga was absolutely fantastic, from start to finish. The communication with Tristan and Vanessa was always smooth, pleasant and quick. They made everything they could to accommodate our needs and answer our questions. The house itself is very well decorated and equipped. Perfect for 8 people. our group had 10 teens+adults and it did become slightly "tight" on certain occasions: the nb of plates, silverware... was a bit "short". Also, there is no table large enough to accommodate 10 people so we had to combine different tables (round and square) to bring everyone to the same table. That being said, everything else was wonderful: comfortable beds, clean and practical bathrooms, large fridge, well-equipped kitchen... Several benches and chairs are provided to enjoy the outside garden as well. All rooms are not equipped with AC, which was super useful! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you Tristan and Vanessa!

Great stay

Family trip with adult children and my mother. The house was perfect for us! The owners were helpful and answered questions quickly. Lots of close wineries, distilleries, and breweries. The lake was wonderful! Enjoyed every afternoon on the dock and floating in the lake. We will be back!

Perfect Location!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The listing was accurate and accommodations as described. The house is centrally located for access to wineries and other attractions. The kids enjoyed some time in the water from the lake access. The hosts were wonderful in their communication and quick to respond when needed. We would absolutely stay again!

Nice place.

Home is nice. They are remodeling. Some things they need to put on their list is new or fixed dish washer. Bottom rack slides out and hard to load. Need drains that work in both tubs. With a one year old, we couldn't give a bath because the tub wouldn't hold water. Orher than that, thehouse is nice and property has a great view of the lake. Quiet neighborhood.

Great property and location

It's a great place! The property itself has everything you need; the 4 total bathrooms (3 showers) is a great bonus. Access to the lake is easy, house is well furnished and comfortable. Everything you need for a quiet getaway, yet enough things to do to keep you busy. Highly recommended!

Comfortable house, although could have used more lights in the 2 living rooms. Easy access to the lake dock. Sharp rocks on the lake bottom and shore, so water shoes would be recommended for swimming
