Comfortable cottage in stunning location.

1 Tullochclury is a semi-detached house (owners next door) situated half a mile down a forestry track with walks, cycling and mountain biking from the front door!
This property is ideally placed for touring the Highlands with Inverness 12 minutes by car, and the Cairngorm National Park just minutes away.
The area is perfect for wildlife with many species of birds as well as red squirrels visiting the garden feeder. If you walk 300 yds along the track you come to the beautiful Moy Loch where you can have fun spotting otters and osprey competing for the trout.
The house is warm and cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove (wood provided) and so is comfortable any time of the year. There is a bathroom (with shower over the bath) as well as a wet room (shower only)
A short drive away Dolphins can be seen from the beach or there are Dolphin watching boat trips from Inverness.
Tomatin distillery is 3 miles away where tours of the distillery are well worth a visit.

trÚs beau gßte, trÚs bien équipé et bien placé. Accueil chaleureux et attentif.

Super gite, au milieu de la campagne au calme, des balades toute proches,prĂšs d' Inverness et central pour visiter les Highlands. Un accueil trĂšs chaleureux et de trĂšs bons conseils de Jon, super bien Ă©quipĂ©, tout est prĂ©vu : plein de carte du secteur, de la nourriture pour les animaux : Ă©cureuils, oiseaux, des plaids pour les petites siestes sur le canapĂ©, de quoi faire du feu dans le poĂȘle,des jeux pour les enfants ! Merci on se sent comme Ă  la maison, avec en plus de super hĂŽtes - voisins discrets attentifs et de bons conseils.

Cette maison est un logement 5 Ă©toiles : ancienne maison isolĂ©e mais facile d'accĂšs entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e avec une touche cosy & raffinĂ©e. Tout est prĂ©vu pour un confort 5 * : l'Ă©quipement jusqu'au petit dĂ©tail dans la cuisine, le poĂ«lle Ă  bois dans le salon - bien agrĂ©able mĂȘme au mois d'aoĂ»t -, la literie moĂ«lleuse, les sanitaires impeccables, la mangeoire pour les oiseaux bien placĂ©e pour l'obervation oĂč en 3 jours nous avons vu se succĂ©der de nombreux oiseaux plus beaux les uns que les autres et que nous pouvions identifier grĂące au livre mis Ă  disposition, Sans compter les Ă©cureuils, les lapins, perdrix et faisans... Des hĂŽtes charmants, attentionnĂ©s et discrets qui habitent juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ©, ce qui est bien pratique. Ils ont pu nous donner des conseils judicieux pour les excursions dans la rĂ©gion. A recommander "les yeux fermĂ©s" Ă  tous les amoureux de la nature et du charme du "English country living". A faible distance nous avons admirĂ© des paysages somptueux. Nous avons observĂ© les dauphins qui atttrapent des saumons Ă  la marĂ©e montante dans le Moray Firth, des saumons qui tentent de remonter le torrents Ă  Rogie falls et puis bien sĂ»r des chevreuils , de superbes vaches highland, etc. We loved our stay in Moy and would recommend this house to any person travelling in the area. An excellent place to stay from the cleanliness, the location, and general presentation of the property, let alone the occupants of the wood displaying in the garden every day! Very well hosted by Jon & Diana and their care for our wellbeing couldn't have been greater. Our only complaint, ... the double beds could be wider, but on the other hand, very good for close relationships!

The perfect holiday house in the highlands!We had the most wonderful stay at Tullochclury and can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The beds were comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings meant we slept better than we have in months!One of the highlights was the location. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for outdoor adventures, this place has it all.The hosts Diana and Jon were also outstanding: friendly, responsive and always available if we needed anything!Thanks again Diana and Jon for our very good holiday!

Rest, walks and day trips in the Highlands

The home was comfortable, gracious and a perfect setting for quiet time, long walks and day trips to highlights of the Highlands. We visited Loch Ness, Dunrobin castle, Inverness and Aviemore, but also enjoyed the fields and trails available right out the front door. A lovely home ina locely spot.

Dream Holiday

John and Di’s home in Loch Moy was the definition of a dream. The location is very central to many highlands landmarks and the home is the coziest long stay we have ever experienced. Our stay was peaceful and euphoric - between the wonderful views of the wee lambs and the beautiful landscape, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. John and Di are also a beyond lovely couple, they are kind and generous with their time (as we are yappers) and shared some great tips with us! The house is located on great walking trails dotted with so much unique flora and trees that we spent most of our days at the house in the brush, identifying flowers. We absolutely loved our time at John and Di’s and cannot wait to plan our next stay if they will have us! Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts.

Fantastic Property

This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is an ideal base for the highlands. Inverness is 20-minutes away, which gives you access to Loch Ness and the Black Isle. You also have easy access to Speyside and the Cairngorms. There is so much to see around here. The house has everything you can possibly need. It is immaculate inside and Jon was incredibly friendly, making sure everything was fine for us. We will return to this house. We had an amazing time. It is a place that would be ideal to relax, but similarly is a base to do lots of exploring and then relax in the evening, watching the clouds go by and the colours changing as the sun sets.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit freundlichen Vermietern in einer atemberaubenden Umgebung

Das Ferienhaus liegt trotz naher Autobahn sehr ruhig und naturnah. Wir konnten mehrfach tĂ€glich drei Eichhörnchen, zwei Fasane und viele verschiedene Vögel vom Esstisch aus beobachten. Zudem liegt der Loch Moy direkt um die Ecke, ist schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen und lĂ€dt zum Angeln ein oder man wandert um ihn herum. Es ist eine traumhafte Landschaft. Das Haus ist sehr sauber sowie sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man findet alles was man braucht. Unsere drei Kinder (5, 0, 0) und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Trotz der gemeinen Midges musste jeden Tag im Garten gekrabbelt und Fußball gespielt werden, bis es wegen der Midges nicht mehr zu ertragen war. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich und haben uns sogar Brot, Wein, Chips und selbstgemachte Marmelade als Überraschung in die KĂŒche gelegt. Sie wohnen direkt nebenan und stehen bei Fragen oder Problemen immer zur VerfĂŒgung. Wenn sich jemand darum sorgen sollte, dass es komisch sein könnte, dass die Vermieter direkt nebenan wohnen, dann können wir bedenkenlos versichern, dass es gar nicht auffĂ€llt. Wir fanden es sehr angenehmen und haben uns gefreut, wenn wir die Vermieter nach einem Spaziergang getroffen haben und mit ihnen Smalltalk halten konnten. Von dem Ferienhaus aus sind viele SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten zwischen 30 min und 1 h sehr gut zu erreichen. Es gibt so unglaublich viel zu sehen, dass unsere neun Tage wie im Flug vergangen sind und eigentlich viel zu kurz waren. Wir kommen wieder.

Perfect Stay

The home was just as lovely as its description. Maybe even better. The hosts were welcoming and so sweet. Meeting our arrival with a welcome spread that was delicious, extra books to read and a fishing pole for our son who loves to fish. The house was very clean, which is important to us. The location was stunning and not too far from eating and shops in Inverness. Would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

I took months looking and thinking about where I wanted to stay. I saw maybe 30 that I thought might work. A short time before leaving I sat down and looked at all of them again and this one spoke to me as a top choice. I told myself "I am going to say yes and fill out the forms and if it comes back to me as available I am taking it" It came back a yes, and I could tell it was going to be good from the way the owner wrote back. Upon arriving, it was everything and more I could have wanted. We all loved every minute there. PS We are very seasoned travelers.
