City Centre Cottage beside the River Ness

Beautiful and fully equipped city centre 3 double bedroom mid terraced cottage with beautiful back garden. My place is a 30 second walk to the Waterfront Bar/Restaurant and supermarket. It is also a 5 minute beautiful walk along the River Ness into the city centre. It has a beautiful back garden where you can enjoy a BBQ whilst seated at the garden furniture. The cottage comes with a 55inch 4K Smart TV with wood burner, fast Wi-Fi. Private hire tours available to Skye, Glencoe, Outlander or to distillery's or to truly beautiful Glens with mountain and river views, herds of deer/stags, wild mountain goats and golden eagles. Ideal for large golf or cycling groups with 3 cottages next to each other. The other property numbers are Rose Cottage 10193008 and Clava Cottage 8166160. Tours transits etc in 9 seater people carrier.

Day tours to Skye, Glencoe, Glenfinnan or Outlander tour, distillery tours or heritage tours and your own bespoke tours on request.

Golf transits to courses available. Take the strain away and enjoy some beers on the course and in the bar afterwards.

superbe maison près du centre d'inverness

tout confort, tout équipée, cette maison est extrêmement agréable pour 6 personnes. le centre à pieds est à 5 minutes. Lits très confortables, vraiment un bon séjour.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil très sympathique de Gregor, la maison est grande, nous étions quatre adultes ravis d'être là. Grande cuisine pratique avec des réserves dans les placards, le réfrigérateur (en plus le supermarché est à 2 minutes à pied). L'espace véranda donnant sur le jardin (avec fraises et framboises !) était particulièrement appréciable pour prendre les repas. Les chambres sont belles, la literie de bonne qualité. La salle de bain éclairée par la lumière naturelle d'une fenêtre qu'on peut ouvrir : très bien, l'équipement : parfait. Le seul point négatif : la salle de bain ne ferme pas à clé...Mais, ça doit pouvoir se régler facilement avec un verrou. La décoration : sobre et esthétique ! L'accès au centre ville est très simple, pour les Highlands games, c'était accessible à pied de manière très facile. Nous avons passé 3 journées formidables à visiter sur place et autour. The location was great. The accommodations were perfect for our group of six. The backyard was delightful and we especially enjoyed the fireplace and watching the Euro cup final on the very large TV in the living room! Gregor was absolutely wonderful to deal with - very helpful, very responsive and wonderfully accommodating!

The Cottage

Our stay with Gregor in Inverness was fabulous! The Cottage was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable while also being walking distance to many Inverness restaurants and shops. Having a working fireplace made ready for use was lovely. While the kitchen and bathroom were small, they met all our needs. Gregor was nice enough to have a few things for us in the kitchen for breakfast! Gregor is a fount of wonderful information and history which made out stay even better! We would definitely stay again!

Comfortable property in great location

We really enjoyed the City Centre Cottage. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the six of us. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked several meals there. Very much appreciated the wood burning fireplace and the logs that were provided. Just a short walk to the center of the city! Definitely recommend.

Great location and host

Close to stores, bike tour, restaurants, River Ness. Host was very responsive to any of our requests. We hired him to pick us up at Edinburgh and give us a tour of the Isle of Skye. He was a great resource on Scottish culture and enjoyable to be around.

Great home in Inverness

Check in/out was smooth. The owner came by to check on us and offer info on the area. The back yard and porch were wonderful. The location was just across a bridge from the down town area - easy walking to dining and shopping. The home was clean, comfortable and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

A Wee Gem in inverness

We were two couples staying in the flat. It was clean and had every amenity that we could have needed. The location was a short walk to the downtown. When we arrived we found food items in the fridge for our first breakfast. Very generous! I would highly recommend staying here and we will stay again the next time we are in Inverness.

Great place, perfect location

This place was perfect. Centrally located, nice neighborhood with grocery close by. We were able to walk everywhere. Gregor was amazing and we booked a “tour” with him. We got to see all over the countryside, he was very helpful and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and time here. Extra touches like bread and milk was amazing. Would definitely recommend and if we find ourselves up there again we will be staying here again if we can. Thanks so much.

Visiting for the weekend.

The cottage was perfect for our needs and made exploring Inverness a breeze as it was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city along the river. The stroll down to Ness Islands was a delight and we enjoyed the hospitality at the Waterfront gastropub which was a couple of minutes from the cottage. There was a local supermarket around the corner which made getting groceries easy (we were without a car on this occasion) Gregor was super helpful and communicative and we really appreciated the welcome provisions. We had the pleasure of meeting Gregor on our departure and he was very pleasant and full of local information. He also offers bespoke tours which we hope to experience on a future longer visit. A lovely stay the whole family enjoyed.

Hospitality Extraorinaire

Gregor has a beautifully appointed home in a central location. The home was clean, comfortable and restful. The back garden and sunroom was such a lovely place to relax and enjoy meals. The closeness to the downtown centre was a real plus. We could enjoy all Inverness had to offer, and then cross the river back to our home away from home. A point of note was Gregor’s kindness when it came to check out. We had a delay and were not able to get out on time. He was generous and kind even though it effected the cleaning staff. Can’t wait for our next stay and have Gregor take us on a few tours. Thank you Gregor!!

Lovely Time in Inverness

Gregor was a delightful host-guide. His VRBO was well- situated very near an ALDI grocery store and many restaurants. We also used Gregor's services for several days of touring and he was incredibly accommodating , knowledgeable and a most pleasant person. A memorable stay !

Highland Tour

This property is within walking distance of downtown Inverness it is close to stores and restaurants. Gregor is a tour guide and is very familiar with the Highlands. We went on several private tours with him and never saw a tour bus at the locations he took us.

Rose Cottage. What a find!

Rose Cottage is homely, functional, walking distance to town along the River Ness and with proximity to AMAZING locations whether you feel like a short day out or a longer drive. It's host Gregor is friendly, down to earth and a great tour guide if you like him to be.
