Cute and Cozy 3BR House with Parking

Our 3 BR house with garage is perfect for football weekends! It's just a five-minute drive to downtown and Kinnick Stadium, and a block from the bus line that will take you downtown, where you can walk or take a shuttle bus to the game.

Tastefully and warmly decorated with a cozy feeling, this house will make you feel welcome and at home. Chill out on the deck with a glass of wine while you use the gas grill, or watch Netflix on the TV in the living room.

Lovely residential neighborhood with a mix of older Victorian and more modern houses. The park on the corner has a fun jungle gym for kids with slides, swings, etc. Near to grocery stores, bars and restaurants.

Sleeps up to 8 with flexible bedding options. Three bedrooms feature a queen, 2 full and a twin bed, sleeping up to seven. One more on the living room couch (not a pull-out sleeper, but still comfortable.)

Hardwood floors, fenced-in backyard with deck and grill, small fully-equipped kitchen. No smoking, please. One bathroom on ground floor.

This house may not be the perfect choice for those with limited mobility due to old-style narrow stairs and two stairs up to the back door onto the deck. Great house for small gatherings of family or friends.

Great spot in Iowa City

We went to Iowa City to visit our daughter for the weekend and picked this location for our stay. We all enjoyed our time here very much, older home with a lot of charm. Felt right at home while we were at the house. Katie and her husband are great hosts.

Easter Week

Was perfect for what we needed. The area was very nice for walking and we felt safe. Not too far of a drive to Mt. Vernon to watch some baseball and visit our son. House is small and would be tough to fit 8 people. At a max, 4 can sit in the living room at once. Hosts were great at communication and the house was ready for us.

Great house for 6, 30min walk to dowtown, great neighbourhood, no washing machine

The house rather small for 8 people, I believe 6 should be the maximum recommended in order to fit comfortably. Other than than the place was nice, we enjoyed the garden a lot and Katie was always available in case of need. The house was fully stocked upon arrival, the only thing it lacked was a washing machine in order to do our laundry. I give it a 4,5/5

I stayed here with my three young kids, my sister-in-law and her family. The property was comfortable and convenient. It's in a great neighborhood with easy access to the rest of Iowa City. I'd highly recommend.
