The overall experience for this stay was undeniably the best, most privileged and relaxing stay my friends and I have had. It is essentially like having a private resort, with a full staff cooking cleaning making drinks and catering to your party’s desires. Beach front, ocean immediately at your access. Clean. Nice rooms. Good design. Nice pool.There were two issues that we had with this stay, however. On the map when you view the location of the home, the pin makes it appear as if the house is at the end of the precision peninsula and essentially full privacy. That’s not actually the case. The actual location is more at the midpoint of the peninsula with houses in both sides. There’s a fair amount of space between properties so it doesn’t feel like you’re hemmed in and functionally it is arguably better to be a bit closer to get back to Cancun, but it is misleading the way the property is portrayed on a map.Second, the listing indicates there’s a hot tub, but there is not; there is an outdoor jetted bathtub attached to the master suite but it is not a hot tub nor is it large enough for a group.With all honesty, had the home not been advertised like this, we probably would not have rented it. Not for the price.So why 5 stars still? The staff and the peaceful access to the beach and the constant sea breeze were just too much of a luxurious experience to let it affect our positive view of our trip despite the misleading elements.
