This gorgeous 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom property has a great location across from the Intracoastal Waterway, with peek-a-boo water views and just a short walk from the beach. With a private pool and outdoor beach shower, this home is ideal for those family vacations and getaways with friends!

This lovely home greets you with a bright blue exterior framed by palms and beautiful landscaping. Journey into the lower-level entryway, where you'll find a staircase up to the main level and the lower-level bedrooms, full bathroom in the hall, and a laundry room with a bonus small refrigerator and microwave.

Up on the main level you'll discover the living area, furnished with a plush sectional, flat screen TV mounted on exposed brick, which along with the wood floors give the space a cozy feel. When you feel like enjoying the natural light or spreading out, there's a sunroom with lots of windows, a large flat screen TV, and ample seating. A ceiling fan in the sunroom helps keep it cool, and a dining table can seat six.

The fully equipped kitchen offers high-quality stainless-steel appliances, as well as everything you need to whip up your own meals. Easily make your own snacks and beverages, and even full-blown dinners with ingredients from a local market. There's a charming breakfast nook with two seats and bay windows, where you can enjoy morning pancakes and a cup of coffee. A formal dining area on a handsome rug can seat four, with doors featuring large windows that lead out to the deck.

The charming deck overlooks the yard and pool. Take a seat in one of the Adirondack chairs, or travel down the stairs to the spacious yard, which features a pool deck and poolside seating with a table, sun loungers, and Adirondack chairs. Down here you'll find an outdoor beach shower and a full-size fridge.

Back inside, you'll find two master suites upstairs. The first room has a king bed, a flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second suite offers a king bed and a daybed with a trundle, along with a spa-like en suite bathroom featuring an elegant soaking tub. Downstairs the third bedroom offers two twin beds, and the fourth bedroom a queen bed. Completing the charm of the lower level is a covered patio with rocking chairs and a porch swing!

*Please note: Fireplace is not a "working" fireplace. The flue is closed, please do not use.

A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 4 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given.

Dogs may be considered with a $250 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner and not paid by the pet fee. Please send an inquiry to Carroll Realty if you wish to bring your dog. Owner/Rental Agency reserves the right to not allow a dog based on size or any other characteristic not covered under the homeowner's insurance policy. Please note - pets are not allowed in the pool. If pool cleaning service determines pets have been swimming in the pool during your stay, you will be charged a $250 pet fine.

Points faibles : Propreté
Picturesque locationand exterior. The owners need to step up in keeping this house up to standards, or take it off the rental market. The photos that are in the ad are very old- much of what attracted me to rent it was not there when we arrived. Case in point- the pool was a major part of what drew me to want to stay there; yet the structure or cabana that was pictured poolside was not there. Many things inside the house were busted or broken.

Not the best VRBO experience for us. There were some pros: location is good; plenty of space; nice kitchen fully stocked; upstairs and downstairs fridges was nice. Now the cons: *Got there after four and code to open the door would not work and there was a bag of dirty linens in the middle of the driveway. Eventually Chad (maintenance man) showed up and let us in). *Part of the main description of house (a lift) was inoperative and falling apart and was a safety hazard. The lift had been one of our selling points because of my surgically-repaired knees that struggle with step. *The hot water in the large, garden tub upstairs with master suite did not work. We reported in on Sunday. One man came to look at it on Monday but was clueless. Chad finally came on Wednesday night (5 days into our trip) at 6:00 pm and replaced the water heater, working in the back yard right in the midst of where we were attempting to entertain guests. Basically, our daughter, son-in-law, and grandaughter only got to use one of the main features on the house for 2 days of our entire week. *TV's were functional, but incredibly difficult to figure out how to use, and there were no instructions anywhere. *In several of the photos of the property, a large awning was shown covering one end of the pool deck. Drawn to that because of our infant grandchild. It was no longer up, but instead was laying in front of the house, in a heap of junk, waiting to be picked up by garbage service.

Terrific Week of a day at the beach and relaxing evening at the pool

This was our first time to IOP and renting a private home. We loved the home and everything about it. We were close enough to the beach to walk in about 5-10 minutes. We usually rode in the golf cart. The beach path was super convenient with only one busy street to cross. The beach was never crowded at the 4th street access, although our weather was perfect. The home felt secluded with the private fenced in yard. There was some close by construction noise during the day, but it never bothered us. The home was beautiful. It had some of the original charm of an older home but was updated where needed. We really loved the enclosed area downstairs by the pool with the fridge and outdoor shower. I also took a couple extra showers in the rain head shower. It was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked. This was one of our favorite vacations and we hope to return soon! It is hard to please a teen, preteen, and grandparents but I believe we managed!

Great pool!

The home was located in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to a nice and family friendly beach. Did have to cross a busier road (no crosswalk) to get to beach, very few drivers were courteous of pedestrian traffic. Manager was very attentive and addressed our questions and concerns. The porch swing fell the second evening and two bedroom doors didn’t latch. They came right away to repair. Plenty of fridge space! The kitchen was not set up for a large group. The oven is small and lower dishwasher did not work well. Beds were comfortable but one king is two full-size beds together. No dresser space. The closets had shelves, but some were pretty dirty. Nice outside space. Plenty of outdoor seating on decks and front porch. The pool was great and we appreciated the grill. The deck had loose rails and pineapple decorations, which were unsafe for the small children.
