This hotel is centrally located for shopping, restaurants and the historic attractions. We had a birdseye view of the blue mosque. Hotel is picturesque, charming and quaint. The rooftop restaurant is nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a variety of breakfast selections. The room was comfortable. One consideration is the call to prayer that is heard five times per day. Since you are so close to the mosque it can be loud.

The only reason for 3 stars is that it was cheap. Lazy staff, dirty hotel, cramped and tiny. Bathroom was ok and it really is 300’ from the blue mosque. So cheap and location good, motel not good

The location of this hotel is the very best - right on hippodrome plaza. Our room faced the plaza, across from the blue mosque. The shuttle to and from the airport was great, just bear in mind the shuttle must be paid for in CASH.

The fee from Istanbul Airport to thus hotel is 60 Euros. It is too much. Otherwise, the staff in general was courteous and helpful.

Excellent Choice Mesut Outstanding Host

We were greeted warmly by Mesut who assisted us excellently throughout our stay. The hotel is quite nice and the staff has been wonderful. The location is superior close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Will return of again in Istanbul.

We had an excellent stay! Safe, comfortable, delicious Turkish style breakfast . The best part was the helpful gentleman at the front desk. He immediately served us Turkish Tea and then helped us with anything we wanted to know as first time travelers to Istanbul. Highly recommend!!!

It’s all about location location. It’s right on the main mall by the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, German Fountain and more. To sit having breakfast on their top floor overlooking the famous mall was so nice. The staff was so helpful and the restaurant had excellent food. We enjoyed our stay there.

Great location right actoss from the blue mosque! The view from the breakfast is fantastic and the service was really good. Very thin walls make it so you hear every noise from the lobby or other floors all night which bothered my sleep a lot unfortunately.

Amazing location, shops were more affordable around the area. Right infront of the blue mosque. Delicious restaurants on the side street. Lovely host Mr hakem was very kind and welcoming. Room service could've been better as i noticed the bed sheets were not changed for 2 days. However that doesn't make a difference to the overall hotel. It was very lovely and comfortable and everything else what a walking distance.

Location, location location: this hotel is right on the spot where the ancient hippodrome used to be and 5 minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia and all the action. Plenty of eating options very close by. The hotel is busy - even in the low season. There are a few issues: first - and most importantly - the 'standard' rooms are not all equal. The first room we were put in was small and basic and a twin despite us having requested a double bed. We complained and they 'upgraded' us to a 'standard' room which was bigger with a double bed on a higher floor. So, if you book a 'standard' room you could end up with a small twin. The second issue is related to this: they don't seem to take the VIP status seriously. I really had to push for a better room. To their credit, they did deliver it. But I felt like they were doing us a big favour. The third issue is the distinct lack of welcome when you arrive. A small point, but reception really doesn't seem to care. (When we arrived they.offeted a welcome drink which never arrived). No one offers to assist with you bags. Basically, you're on your own. All of that said, the location is fantastic.and the rooms are warm and clean. The room staff are exceptional and make up somewhat for the reception staff. Breakfast is standard Turkish and crowded. But overall, a pleasant stay in a clean, functional hotel.
