Special thanks to Pouyan, Hanifi, the kind woman in the breakfast hall, the housekeeping team, and the wonderful hammam masseuse—you made this stay unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—just steps from top sights like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Basilica Cistern. Safe, walkable, and ideal for exploring the heart of Istanbul. Breakfast each morning was generous and delicious, and my room was a peaceful, beautifully kept retreat. Every corner of the hotel is clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. A must-do is the Sultan Hammam & Spa inside the hotel. After a long flight, it was the perfect way to unwind and recharge—professional, relaxing, and beautifully authentic. GLK Acropol exceeded every expectation. Whether it's your first trip to Istanbul or your tenth, this hotel is the perfect base with a team that turns hospitality into an art. Great property and friendly staff but there was an issue with our toilet that was unable to be fixed during our stay so we were without a toilet. We had an adjoining room with family but I'm not sure what we would have done if that were not the case.
