very basic.could b better for a bed n breakfast. five nights i was there bedlinen was not changed, towel only once.could hear toilet flushing n even snoring from next door.same breakfast everyday.no soap or shampoo provided.£55 a night was really expensive .

Cheap but not cheerful

When I booked this hotel I made sure I sent a message explaining that we'd be arriving at 5am so I had booked the night prior as well. When we got there they told us they thought we weren't coming and we were lucky they hadn't give our room away because everywhere in Istanbul was full that night. It then took 20 mins of explaining the arrival time and booking of the extra night because of it before we finally got to our room. The window was wide open, the room was freezing and the bathroom was dirty and smelt bad. In the mornings the walls were wet with condensation and the room was right next to the breakfast room so the smell of eggs came through the air vent and made the whole room like eggs. Breakfast wasn't very good and when we ordered eggs they didn't make them for us. On the upside it was quite cheap and right next to the Blue Mosque.

The hotel is in a great location that allows easy access to all the local sites. Sultanhamet is a nice relaxed place to stay with friendly people.

Gute Lage

Das Hotel liegt in gehweite zur Blauen Moschee, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi-Palast und ca. 30 Min vom Großen Basar entfernt. Restaurants und Läden liegen in den Straßen unmittelbar um das Hotel herum. Die Dachterrasse bietet eine schöne Aussicht und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Ein gut gelegenes Hotel für diejenigen, die mehr unterwegs, als im Hotel sind.
