The staff very nice, the hotel ok. Mold on ceiling in hallway… one major leak plastic tarp and tubes. No fan in bathroom so when u shower everything gets moist. Beds comfortable. Outside side doors are open access. No key needed… not great for safety

Excellent weekend breakfast. Grab an go options other day limited. Would like to see external doors locked at night. Very pleasant housekeeping staff. Odd that front desk didn’t know where closest post office was. Staff gave good dinner reco at Zocolos.

The outside doors to get into the room on the side of the building were unlocked at all hours. The second fkoor had a huge leak w a farm and hose through the ceiling. We saw no staff or housekeeping. Very outdated hotel fir a very costly fee.

From the outside, this looks like a somewhat dated average hotel. Inside, the reception area is underwhelming and adequate. The staff were friendly, but disempowered to affect a change when it was needed. There was an unattended dog in one of the rooms and in the two nights we were there they were not able to get the owners to address the issue of his ongoing barking. The facilities have a somewhat rundown, aging appearance. The room is fairly standard although the two beds are not queen size they are double beds. The bathroom in the first room we tried to stay in was not cleaned properly. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, definitely better than average for included breakfast buffets at hotels like this. There was a broken window on a door to our building gave off a bad vibe. The workout equipment was in disrepair, and they were aware of that, but had not addressed it. And of course, we were there on a family weekend for the local college so prices were premium.

I stayed at this hotel during my visit for the Cornell campus tour. The location is great — there’s a grocery store right in front and it’s very convenient to get to the university. However, the building seems quite old, and the bathroom water doesn’t drain well. It’s a very classic place, to say the least.

Affordable basic hotel in convenient location

Start with the positives- friendly staff at check in. Helpful, quick and welcoming. Snacks and water in room as a welcome. Room well appointed. Beds comfortable. Room had a safe and fridge. Bathroom didn’t have a fan and needed updating. A few towels had stains and the shower curtain was deteriorating. Stains on the bedding but it was immediately remedied once brought to housekeeping attention. Easy parking, great location for college visits. None of outside doors lock so a bit of a safety issue. Additionally there was trash and construction debris outside. Hotel is in dire need of a sprucing up. Wallpaper peeling, stained and torn carpet and shattered glass in the door. Breakfast was amazing and staff ran it well.
