For the price we paid, this hotel was not up to par. The door to the room had marks near the lock as if it had been attempted to be broken into, the lights in the room didn’t work. Carpet was stained and bed linens were worn. Overall not a super clean feel. The front desk attendant was very kind, but seemed very stretched thin and working alone to tend to guests. Will not stay here again.

The person at the front desk, Christie, was extremely welcoming and friendly. She was able to get us into our room with no hesitation. The hotel was clean and spacious. As a frequent traveler to Jackson MS I’ve been looking for a “resident hotel”. I think I’ve found it.

The staff was beyond excellent. This property is the pits. For $200 a night, you would think a person could have a great sleep. These mattresses are horrible, full of lumps, and the down pillows are just that. Down. My body was in agony. Then I had to literally beg for clean towels on the second day. Forget eco-friendly. I do not bathe with a dirty towel at home. Could not open the curtains. The panel on the air conditioning unit is loose. The property gets a zero. The staff, however, makes it okay. The cooks and hostesses in the kitchen are top-notch; they get a 10. Mr. Thompson and his staff are fantastic.

The interstate is very loud all night. If you are a light sleeper probably not the place to stay. Other than that it’s a great place. They have a breakfast buffet available for $12.50/person.

Asked for feather free, and even called. Then when checking in assured me feather free. Of course it wasnt. 1 of 4 pillows was feather. Room smelled musty and blind was wore out where you could see light coming through as it must be old.
