Close your eyes and imagine complete euphoria as you enter this ever so elegantly adorned 3 bedroom 3 bathroom luxury home located at 280 South Fletcher Avenue. Picturesque architecture, limitless space, and unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean are just a few extravagant features of this seaside retreat.

Walking up the steps and entering through the front door, you will find the perfect, open concept floorplan. The fully equipped luxury kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and pristine off-white cabinets. This kitchen has everything you need to prepare exquisite cuisine for your entire family after a day of fun in the sun. In the adjacent dining area with a high-top table seating 6, you will find the perfect spot to enjoy your scrumptious meal or play games with the family. Additional seating for 3 is available at the nearby bar area.

As you make your way into the living area you are welcomed by beautiful furnishings including a queen sleeper sofa and love seat. The living room centers around a large flat screen TV and fireplace to cozy up beside during the chilly winter months. Natural light streams in through the large wall of windows where the serene ocean view will leave you speechless. No seaside home would be complete without a balcony to enjoy the gorgeous view and unwind after a long day on the beach and this home offers a plethora of balcony options including this one just off of the living area.

Down the hall on the same level you will find a bedroom furnished with a beautiful white queen sized bed, chest of drawers, and a vibrant comforter. An adjacent bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and beautiful granite countertops as well as a laundry area are also located on this level for your convenience.

Heading up the stairs and entering the bonus room, you will find a sofa and flat screen television perfect for kids wanting to enjoy a movie separate from the adults. The master bedroom retreat just down the hall features a king size bed with plush bedding, a flat screen television, a large chest of drawers, and your own private balcony overlooking the sandy shoreline. The adjoined master bathroom boasts a tiled walk in shower, garden tub, and double sinks with granite countertops.

The second bedroom down the other end of the hall is equipped with a king bed and a small Juliet balcony. This guest room neighbors another bathroom with granite countertops and a combination shower/tub.

The private boardwalk leads straight to the water's edge on a beautiful stretch of Amelia Island's 13 mile beach. This home is close in proximity to Amelia Island's historic downtown area, a 2 minute drive to local sightseeing such as Fort Clinch State park, as well as a close distance to many delicious dining options. This home is one side, called Walben 1, of a beautiful and spacious ocean front duplex. The other side, called Walben 2, has the same layout. Both sides can be rented for large groups.

Nice place, good location

Multiple balconies are nice, as well as all bedrooms have a king or queen bed. My kids are way past twin bunk bed age so this was a perfect size place my family, giving everyone their space to relax. Location is great and was very easy for us to go back and forth from beach to the house. Living room was comfy, and house was clean and well kept. Pleased with our visit!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this location. It was very clean and very spacious. Love the access to the beach and loved the set up overall. Loved the master bathroom set up. I even took a picture of the bathroom sink and cabinet because loved the idea. Also love the flooring upstairs.

Can’t beat it

That view from the Master bedroom was all it took and I was sold! I stayed for a much needed retreat weekend and I truly couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. The balcony is just so peaceful being able to listen to the waves! 7 minute drive to downtown with coffee, food, and shops. Thank you!!

Beautiful home with great views

My family of 5 loved staying at this home. We have three kids ages 5, 7, and 9. We really appreciated how close the home is to the beach. It had by far the shortest boardwalk to the beach that we’ve ever stayed at. We also really liked that there were 3 rooms with soft beds so we had plenty of room to spread out in comfort. Many of the light switches in the house are labeled which makes things surprisingly easier. This home also has strong water pressure in the showers and endless hot water. The master bathroom has a tub and a shower with an adjustable bar for the shower head which makes it easy for little ones to wash their own hair. Extra trash bags, dish detergent, dish soap, and laundry detergent was included. Located right outside the entrance to the fort and down the street from a few great playgrounds. Lots of sharks teeth to be found on the beach after high tide. Ice maker in the freezer. We brought our own beach towels, toys, and chairs since none are provided. Great house and couldn’t recommend it more!

Lovely View

Clean and nicely furnished duplex. The views are amazing and the beach access is private. The 4 star review had to do with the bed. We stayed in the master bedroom upstairs where the bed was too soft and had a dip in each side where you sleep

Good location

We rented this beachfront duplex for it's proximity to the hotel family was staying in and it wasnt' too far from the wedding venue. It's a very nice place and the rental company was great to call in and check on us. My daughter and her friends came to the house for bridal party prep before her wedding and it worked well. My only comments would be this is the first rental that I have stayed in that did not have complimentary shampoo/conditioner for those who may have left them behind. Also, the shower curtain was a bit crudy and needed to be bleached. But despite those small things, I would definitely recommend this rental for anyone who would like to have beachfront close to town.

Best stay ever!

The house was everything it promised to be- a beautiful property, great location, and with outstanding responsiveness from the property manager. The vacation was just all that we hoped it would be! A favorite part of the house is the private balcony off the master bedroom- just a gorgeous hideaway. Will return!!!

Fabulous Fernandina Beach

We so enjoyed the few days spent at this spacious place. Everything was exactly as pictured. Had everything you needed and the home was clean and spacious. Hopefully we will return again with more family soon. And the views were spectacular! Sunrises were just beautiful and this place is right on the beach! A must stay! Loved it!

Outstanding location on the beach and close to Fort Clinch and downtown. Spacious and clean. Had small issue with drains in the tub not working and handle on one of the toilets not working all the time but these were minor.

Beach very close

Nice house and layout. Beach seemed to be even closer in the backyard than the pictures seem to depict. Easy walking distance to restaurants, gas station, parks, erc. north of the house. For sure, go to the Salt Life restaurant for lunch or dinner as it is great food. Only negative(still gave 5 stars) is that the carpet upstairs in the bedrooms is past it's useful life and needs replaced IMHO.

Wonderful getaway!

The property was very updated and clean. It was right on the beach and had beautiful decks to both view the ocean and relax. The layout was well arranged and spacious. The beds and furniture were comfortable It was well equipped with linen, starter supplies and cooking utensils. I was impressed by the amount of lighting and outlets available. The communication was excellent. We really our too short stay!
