Riversides Relaxing Retreat

Beautiful Historic building built in 1927. Retro place is a charming and unique gem located 1 block from St. Vincents Hospital and just a few blocks from the The Shoppes of Avondale. Our location offers amenities for young professionals traveling for work , fun couples weekend , or a perfect getaway for family time. Avondale is notable for fabulous dining , antique shopping , parks, fun bars and trendy boutiques . Our culinary scene is on the national map.

The space
The apartment is located on the second floor of a 4 unit building. There are 2 units on the top floor and 2 units on bottom floor. There is a backdoor entrance to get to the coin laundry located in a seperate building a few feet away which is used by tenants only not open to the public.

Cozy and Comfortable

This is such a cute place. It was perfect for what we needed. The bed is so comfortable. We had a good night's rest. The host is extremely hospitable. She reached out first with the warmest welcome, and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this place for a getaway. The area is charming and safe. We will definitely use this place again.

My family and I were in for a quick trip. The place was very cute and vintage. The location was perfect. The neighbors were pretty friendly. Theresa was amazing!!! Very attentive. If I had any issues or questions, she was available. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Unassumingly precious

The outside is unassuming, but inside the unit was beautiful. Nicely decorated and super clean. The linens were soft and smelled freshly washed. We had issues trying to get the lock opened, but the property owner was super responsive which is always appreciated. We would gladly rebook next time we're in town.

Lovely little apartment in nice neighborhood

Stayed for two nights in Riverside area of Jacksonville. Loved the area, very close to restaurants and shops. The apartment was cute and had everything I needed. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely book again.

I liked everything about the apartment. My husband was scheduled for very early surgery, so it was very convenient for us being so close to the hospital. The little amenities were very nice (coffee pods, snacks, toiletries, etc). It has a nice homey feel. I would highly recommend it.
