2/10 â Terrible

The moment I turned the corner and saw the Rodeway Inn, I knew this was not going to be good. It's a run-down motel, and for all the reviews, I was shocked. Half the place is barricaded from the other half.
Unfortunately, I had no other options at that moment as I had to attend a funeral the next morning. At first there was no one at the registration counter but someone did show up a moment later and while he was courteous the room was another matter.
Greeting me in the room was a condom floating in the toilet, leaking at the base on the floor and slow flushing. Stains on the wall, mold on the shower curtains (that was changed the next day) and backed up tub water that must have been connected to the slow toilet drain with the debris floating at my feet. Dried blood on the bathroom door jamb and a gritty floor, where I couldn't take my socks off to walk on a bare floor and roaches.
It's better to show you in pictures, attached.
Furthermore, this is the most active motel I've ever seen at 2:00 to 4:00 in the morning with horns honking as if they're waiting for someone & people roaming the gangway making noise thoughout the night. Unbelievable! Leaving the AC running, drowns out the noise.
I had to stick it out as I couldn't deal with more on my schedule.
