Pierrette and Marc will be happy to welcome you and welcome you to PERLITA.
Your accommodation is in a quiet dead end less than 4 minutes walk from the beach and 3 minutes from the center of Jaco, all shops, bars and restaurants.
You will stay in an apartment of 70 m2 which can accommodate 4 to 6 people.
TO BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE 6 PEOPLE WE ARE ADDING 2 VERY COMFORTABLE MATTRESSES DIRECTLY ON THE FLOOR IN THE BIGGEST ROOM.
This apartment consists of an equipped kitchen, dining room, large terrace, two bedrooms each with a bathroom and separate toilet.
You can relax in the swimming pool while admiring hummingbirds, butterflies and different birds ...

Problems with refund

La Perlita itself was everything I had hoped for - comfortable, close to the beach, restaurants, markets, but we ran into major problems when trying to get our refund for one week, that we had cancelled 2 months earlier. We still have not received it and have had little support from both the host and VRBO

Good but not great

We recently stayed in a unit which was adequate and reasonably comfortable. The amenities listed need a more thorough description. We picked this property based on it having air conditioning as my husband needs it for a health condition. What the listing doesn't state is the host wants the AC turned off any time you are not in the apartment and came in without notification to turn it off. This felt like a invasion of privacy and made us very uneasy. Also, the washer and dryer listed is available but for 5 USD per wash and per dry and can only be accessed at the host's convenience. Pool was nice and the plants and flowers around the property are lovely.

Two weeks in Jaco

We stayed with Marc and Pierrette for 2 weeks with our 9 and 11 year old. We all really enjoyed our two bedroom unit on the second floor (next to the hosts). We had a beautiful backyard view with lots of animals and birds. The rooms were spacious. The pool was very nice and the property was quiet and felt very safe. The location on a dead end street was far enough from the main street it wasn't too loud but close enough that we walked to the beach or walked for groceries or supper 1 or 2 times per day without feeling it was a chore.

Nice Apartment

Nice apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room/kitchen. Each room has an in-wall air conditioning unit which is vital since Jaco is very hot and humid. I did not love Jaco. The beach was all rocks and the downtown was very touristy. We drove to Manuel Antonio and the beach in the national park was amazing. We saw monkeys up close and the beach was sandy and protected from undertoe because it is on an inlet. If you like surfing, Jaco might be nice for you. Bring water shoes if you plan on swimming at the beach at Jaco.

LA PERLITA , UNE PERLE, NOTRE PERLE -THE BEST OF THE BEST-ABSOLUTAMENTE EL MEJOR-

Dire que c'est le meilleur appartement que nous ayons loué pour nous semble évident. La Perlita pour nous a tout simplement été notre perle et nous a procuré un séjour sécuritaire, mémorable et extraordinaire à Jaco. Tout, absolument tout, était partfait. C'est de loin l'appartement le mieux équipé que nous ayons loué au cours des années. Le fait que nous soyons à 5 minutes de la plage et du centre de Jaco a aussi été très attrayant. Et, le plus important, nous avons été reçus par les hôtes les plus accueillants et les plus chaleureux qu'il nous ait été donné de rencontrer. Pierrette et Marc nous ont aidé avec absolument tout: d'information, à référence pour des soins médicaux, à directions, et à réservations, tout - tout. Ils aiment recevoir des visiteurs si bien qu'après quelques heures, nous ne nous sentons plus comme visiteurs, mais comme des invités, voire des amis. ABSOLUMENT rien à reprocher à La Perlita, tout à souligner. Si vous séjournez à Jaco et que vous n'allez pas à La Perlita, vous serez perdant. Point! Merci Pierrette et Marc! Merci La perlita!
