Great Experience

We came in a few days after a tropical depression came through the Island. The Jekyll Island Realty group communicated daily up to our arrival date to ensure us that the property was safe/clean and that the island still had power etc. The property was top notch and the pool was amazing.

Property was very inviting, lots of room for the family of six.... location was perfect in a quiet neighborhood, with private pool onsite. House was spacious, comfortable, and was equipped with plenty of kitchenware to be able to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner if we chose to do so. We look forward to renting this house again. Thank you to the owners for such a comfortable home away from home.

We had the best time with our friends!! The house is very clean and accommodating. There is an extra living area not pictured for added space. The beds and rooms were all tidy. The pool/fire pit area is great! Tons of space! The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for entertaining. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the island!!

The house was amazing and the pool was big didn’t really like the beaches cause of water it’s dirty and u get like wood pieces on you but as for house it was really clean and nice and roomy wish pool guy would have cleaned before we stayed but it was big and kids loved it

A beautiful home

The home was clean and very comfortable. I will make one note for people who are planning on staying here, I am a person who prefers a soft mattress and the master bedroom has a very firm mattress. I ended up going to Walmart in Brunswick and buying a mattress topper and all was well. I wouldn't deduct points for a mattress because everyone has their own preferences. Everything else was great, if you're traveling with family it is a much better option than a hotel. My husband and I have been to Jekyll Island several times over the years but this is the first time we rented a house for our stay there, we will definitely do it again for our next trip to Jekyll Island.

Awesome stay

Our experience at Austin Mermaid was more than we could have ever wished for. The upgrades to the bedrooms were perfect. The open layout made the whole family feel more together without having to be in the same room. Even when it was raining outside you still felt like the beach was right outside because the decor was light and beachy. We will definitely be staying here again.

What a great place

The house was perfect for a family get together! We loved the big living room, out door area and kitchen
