Garden Cottage 79 Modern and sleek at the beach... This Cottage perfectly combines sleek and modern furnishings with the ambiance of coastal living. You enter this home through the kitchen, which is fully equipped with black stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, a Black and Decker Coffee Machine, a crock-pot blender, a mixer, and anything you could need to make a home-cooked meal. The spacious living area leads out to the large screened-in porch, perfect for outdoor dining in any weather and the ocean view is a bonus. The gas grill is also located on the patio. This cottage features a master suite (king) on the main level, with an oversized shower and walk-in closet. At the base of the stairs, you will find the half bath, along with the full laundry with a stacked washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find 2 additional bedrooms, each with a queen bed, private bath, and access to the large screened upper balcony complete with comfortable seating. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community firepit.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Great house overall. Didn’t actually have beach view. Pool was great. Local shops and restaurants were fantastic and close. Highly recommend The Beachhouse restaurant for dinner. Decor needs a little updating. Only two bedrooms had tv’s.

Great Jekyll Location

Comfortable and spacious Jekyll home. Nice layout and plenty of room for our family. Short drive to wonderful Jekyll beach parks or use the neighborhood beach access. We loved the neighborhood pool as another option. Like most VRBO rentals, bring your extra paper products and supplies.

Great, roomy condo

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious condo. Although there is not really beach access per se, the water is nearby as are great walking beaches and the bike trail is right outside. Overall it is well-equipped, although there were only 2 coffee cups so be sure to bring your own! We would definitely stay here again.

This is an airy, roomy, well-appointed home. There is plenty of room for two adults and two children. Everything we needed was readily available. Cottages at Jekyll Island for the Win!

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Cottages at Jekyll Island and couldn’t have been more pleased! The place was large enough for our family of 4 with each one of us having our own personal space/bathroom. The cottage was easy to locate and check-in process was seamless. The house was clean. The kitchen could use a few more staples, but otherwise we had an amazing time.

We enjoyed Jekyll island. A perfect place too spend a few days. Loved the history and nature.

For the most part it was great. Two issues. The actual location could have been highlighted but actually was somewhat buried in the paperwork. The only other problem was the TV. Getting to live television was unnecessarily difficult. Directions would have helped.

Great stay - property and location were exactly what we needed

This property was very nice and well maintained! The location was perfect with beach access close by! We were able to enjoy the island as well as grill at the cottage to enjoy college football on Saturday afternoon! The rental process was easy and any questions we had were quickly responded to. We will be back!

A very clean and well-kept unit. Very quiet neighborhood. The beach is a quick walk from the unit. Well appointed and recently updated. The showers and bathrooms were very nice.
