Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. Everything as expected with a couple of downers based on my room. Fairly convenient area if you have a car with self parking. Right off the main road and easy to get to major highways. There are shops and restaurants around the area plus American Dream Mall is not too far. Clean room with a small kitchen area. And the downers. The water pressure for the shower was weak. Probably took twice as long but I was able to work with it. Other than that the room I got was across the employee room/closet and could definitely hear some of the loud bangs with equipment and door closing. Again that was the particular room. Also, to note for travelers to NYC. With traffic could take 30mins - 1hr+ to go in the city and the same with going back. Would probably be dependent of day and time I went in Friday and Saturday and it was busy. Uber/Lyft rides will also fluctuate depending of day and time.

first room was a handicap equiped room which we did not need or ask for. Nor were we asked if we minded the handicap equiped room. The air conditioning in the room was not working. The room was hot, humid and had an odor. We asked and were relocated to a romm where the AC was working.

Not only was the older American lady at the front desk, the rudest person I’ve ever engaged with but the young lady at the front desk as well. Explain that breakfast was served at 6:30 however, when I came downstairs the next morning at 6:30 the African-American woman was very rude and told me it wasn’t until seven. I only stayed at this hotel cause I flew in for business. I picked this hotel specifically due to the pool and the hot breakfast in the morning. I am very upset about the way the room smell. The odor was very foul. I will never be staying here again. The staff was horrible and the hotel is disgusting overall, if I can rate this below a zero that’s what it would be

Housekeeping staff were very helpful, especially Elizabeth who went out of her way to correct a small problem. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was much better than other area hotels.
