Nestled on the breathtaking banks of Sussex Inlet's waterways, this waterfront cottage is a dream come true for boating enthusiasts. It boasts a private jetty and boat mooring, making it a perfect haven for those who love life on the water. This modern home is beautifully furnished, offering stunning 180-degree water views. (Jetty is shared with Little River Tiny Home guests)

Conveniently, a flat walkway/bicycle pathway is right at your doorstep, inviting you for leisurely strolls or bike rides along the river's edge. The town is a mere few hundred meters away, easily accessible by foot or bike. Here, you'll find an array of dining options, Swordfish Brewery, cafes, the RSL club, a local cinema, shops, and an IGA grocery store. It's truly one of the finest waterfront locations in Sussex Inlet.

The possibilities for outdoor activities are boundless. You can enjoy fishing right from your private jetty, set out for boating adventures from your own backyard, explore the nearby parkland, go kayaking, swimming, or embark on scenic bike rides. Boating to the Haven is a heavenly experience with its clear blue waters and sandy bottoms, offering some of the most picturesque swimming spots. Alternatively, you can venture to The Basin, renowned for its fantastic fishing and water-skiing opportunities.

For beach lovers, Cudmirrah Beach is just a short drive away, offering excellent surf breaks at the North end, perfect for swimming and surfing. Berrara Beach & Lagoon is another gem, with its beautiful beach and a lagoon ideal for the little ones.

The cottage itself is a modern and exquisitely decorated home, filled with sunlight as it faces North. It features a fully equipped modern kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dishwasher. The dining room offers mesmerizing water views and seats six. The spacious lounge room seamlessly connects to the kitchen and dining area, providing excellent water views, comfortable lounges, a large television, DVD player, and a selection of movies and board games for your entertainment.

The main bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed and a TV/DVD, while the second bedroom includes a double bed and a single bed, along with a TV/DVD. The fully fenced yard is level and grassy, making it ideal for children to play safely. The house is equipped with air-conditioning for your comfort.

A boat ramp is conveniently located just 100 meters away, allowing you to leave your boat in the water while enjoying your holiday at our jetty.

As an added bonus, we provide 2 Cruiser Bikes, 4 Mountain Bikes, 2 Stand Up Paddle Boards, and 1 Kayak for your enjoyment. Additionally, all bed linen, bath towels, and basic pantry items are included. This waterfront cottage truly offers the best location on the RIVER.

Relaxing stay

We had stayed in other places in Sussex Inlet before. By far, this is the best one we came across. Good location, comfortable living and picturesque view of the water. Private jetty is a great facility to us. Will certainly stay again.

Delightful location. Quaint cottage on the water. Neat, tidy and well provisioned.

Riverbank Cottage is beautifully located on right on the water at Sussex. We spent heaps of time swimming directly off the private jetty and access to the Paddle Board and Kayak were an added bonus. It is a 5 min walk to town centre and perfectly located for an easy and relaxed holiday break.

The Relaxation Station

We had a wonderful time at Riverbank Cottage. With the water for fishing and swimming at our doorstep and a flat footpath for the kids to ride around on . Riverbank Cottage ticked all the boxes . We’d definitely come back .

Very happy

We had a lovely break at Riverbank Cottage. The cottage has a lovely comfortable feel and the location is second to none. Having access to the private jetty was a great bonus.Easy flat walking access to clubs and shops. We were lucky enough to meet the delightful Dasha and her husband who were both very helpful.We would love a return stay.

2 Day break

When we arrived, property hadn't been cleaned and beds not made. The owner was unaware of this so an email to the owner soon sorted out the issue and the house was just as we had hoped. Dasha also let us leave a little later, so we were able to have another kayak paddle, being the last day of summer. A great location on the water and a well looked after house. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location, great set up

Great location, so close to the water! The private jetty was absolutely wonderful! The house was beautifully clean when we arrived, the beds made with thick, soft covers which makes a difference from thin sheets you might be used to at hotels. The pantry had various useful items, but if you do crave your morning coffee or any other essential it's best to bring your own just in case. We didnt utilise the kayaks, paddle boards or bikes on offer, but it's so great that the hosts offer them! We came with our 4 young children (aged 5 and under), so we moved the lovely but breakable trinkets away. They were a huge fan of the noughts and crosses and bowling games! Dasha responded to my emails prior to booking and gave a very thorough inbox before arrival. Check in and check out went smoothly, although one suggestion is to maybe install a small sensor light over the key box, as we arrived after dark so it was a bit tricky accessing the key. I cannot fault this accommodation or the hosts, it really was a great experience! We'd definitely love to come back!

The property manager agreed for an early check-in but someone didn't tell the cleaners. Subsequently nothing had been cleaned by the time we arrived. Happily it was soon rectified. So too was a problem with the TV.

Charming cottage with an excellent kitchen

We loved our stay at Sussex Inlet. The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is beautiful with a lovely view. A bonus was the extensive collection of DVDs. The only negative was that the Wifi information provided was incorrect. And we were unable to contact the host, as the link provided through stayz didn't work. Not a major flaw, and otherwise I would give a rating of excellent.
