Pleasant Stay
Posted Aug. 16, 2022 on HotelsWe stayed for 11 nights at the guest house and we can say that overall it was very neat, tidy and clean, as was our twin room. It was not exactly as the photos depicted, but at least it was comfortable and clean. Our room was small but pleasant, with windows on two opposite walls so it wasn't too dark. The curtains and bed covers could have done with a little upgrade, and most of the furniture was a little outdated which made it all a little bit farm-like in character.The linen was white and very clean, and the duvets were warm although quite heavy. The bathroom was very clean, with a soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower and liquid soap and body lotion by the basin. Clean white towels and toilet rolls were offered to us everyday. Irene was the perfect hostess, always being available to help and offer assistance. She was also a good cook, preparing a lovely breakfast for us everyday. The guest house was only purchased by the current owner about a year ago, so I'm sure they will gradually put their own stamp on it as time progresses.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the breakfast. Our guests are treated to a hearty all inclusive breakfast of: Cereals, yogurt, bread, juice, tea, coffee, and even cappuccino. Our full English breakfast consists of bacon, eggs, sausage, tomatoe, hashbrown/avo/beans. Next time, please do ask if you want a second helping, we will never refuse to give you more.

Best Guest House I stayed in
Posted Sep. 13, 2019 on HotelsI loved, loved this guest house, mostly because of the owners. They were so friendly and very accommodating. The room was great and breakfast even better, you honestly get exactly what they advertise, can not recommend it enough.

Guest house close to airport

Pros: Easy location for what we needed
Cons: Television channels were very limited
Location: Nearby airport, Eastgate and Greenstone shopping centres
We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. Bennett was extremely accommodating and friendly - nothing was too much for him.

Nice Guest House close to OR Tambo Airport

Pros: Good price.
Friendly reception.
Spacious room & bathroom.
Complimentary breakfast.
Quaint garden.
Close to OR Tambo.
Cons: My room had a rickety table - a bit unpleasant to use.
A little more milk provided in the room for coffees, etc.

I stayed one night after arriving in the evening from OR Tambo Airport. By the time I arrived it was well after dark. I found Liza, the hostess/owner, friendly and accommodating. I no time she had me booked in, in my room, with Wifi access.
The room and en-suite bathroom was spacious. The shower was huge - very nice. The next morning I enjoyed a complimentary English breakfast with as much toast and tea/coffee as you'd like. Outside the rooms is a quaint and well-kept garden. As I remember, there are some chairs in the garden for you to sit at if you'd like some fresh air. Plenty of bird life around if you like that sort or thing. I would stay there again.
