The Sprout is smallest of the Spruce Houses three units a hidden gem located in the lush Tongass National Forest, just a short walk away from the airport, shopping centers, restaurants, coffee shops, hiking trails, and biking paths. The property is surrounded by meticulously designed landscaping that perfectly complements the majestic old growth Sitka Spruce trees.

The outdoor living spaces at The Spruce House offer pure garden enjoyment, providing the perfect setting for your next group adventure or small event.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit features an open living floor plan with a modern farmhouse ambiance. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by a spacious veranda adorned with charming LED string lights. The interior of the unit boasts an airy feel, thanks to the cathedral ceiling and transom windows that allow an abundance of natural light to fill the space.

The kitchen is well-appointed and includes a natural stone backsplash, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer), microwave, propane cooktop/oven, pantry, and garbage disposal. There is island seating for three, offering a delightful view of the expansive veranda and garden.

The primary bedroom, furnished with a queen-sized bed, features an en suite bathroom with a walk-in glass-enclosed shower and a large custom closet. Additionally, the living room includes a queen sofa sleeper, accommodating two additional guests. For your convenience, there is a stacked washer/dryer located inside the master suite.

The outdoor amenities at The Spruce House are designed to enhance your experience. You can enjoy the covered barbecue station, relax in the 4-person hot tub, sway in the swinging chairs, or gather around the outdoor fireplace with comfortable seating for conversation. Whether you prefer al fresco dining on the covered veranda or roasting marshmallows under the starry sky with twinkling lights overhead, you'll find the perfect place to rejuvenate your spirit amidst the beauty of nature.

The property offers a well-lit carport that can accommodate two vehicles, and there is ample parking available, including EV charging facilities (for an additional fee). The Spruce House is also an ideal venue for hosting various gatherings such as birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, weddings, receptions, corporate events, romantic getaways, business retreats, family reunions, and for out-of-town guests visiting locals.

For liability and security purposes, there are external cameras at the front door of each unit, including the hot tub. There are NO inside cameras. Cameras are monitored by the host at anytime via a smartphone app. The cameras are not to be tampered with or covered.

PRE-ARRIVAL: we do ask for a copy of your ID as part of our guest screening process after the reservation is confirmed and you will be asked to fill out & sign a pre-arrival form.
