Our stay was amazing! Condo was great. Clean and had most of what we needed. A couple more items in the kitchen would have made it perfect but we made do with what was in there. Will defiantly stay again.

Great resort, awesome location, wonderful host!

This resort was perfect for our family. Two beautiful pools, and the beach right outside! We were able to rent boogie boards and all the items we needed to make life easy! I can’t say enough about the flexibility and quick responsiveness of the host! Terru was amazing and quickly came to my aid when I made a booking error. She truly saved the day and is what customer service is all about. Mahalo to all at this piece of heaven on earth for a few glorious days in paradise! (Lastly, even though the listing said garden view, we did have a partial ocean view from the front lanai). Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Minor Maintenance issues

We have stayed at KS at least six times!! Unit 545 was the nicest unit yet. Fresh water is always a precious commodity for this reason I recommend that you have the plumbing checked at both the shower head and kitchen sink. The entrance door did not have any weather striping installed and the threshold is too low. This allows the wind to make a load moaning sound that I found disagreeable. The sound was minimized by placing a towel in front of door. The gap at the bottom of the door could also allow uninvited insects into the room . All in all our stay on Maui was fantastic and room 545 added to our enjoyment . Mahalo Terry we are looking for a two bedroom for ten days in Oct. Any help would be appreciated!

Relaxing Spring break holiday

We stayed in unit 212 for 7 nights. It had a nice view of the ocean and the garden. The unit was very clean. It also had a Playstation console and my Son was able to checkout free video game discs near the lobby. It came fully stocked with all cooking utensils and cutlery. However, it would have been nice if there were basic cooking supplies such as salt, oil etc that you would normally find left over in vacation rentals. The property has two nice swimming pools. The pool in the Garden area is not very deep (max about 4 ft) with a nice tropical garden around it and is great for the smaller kids. The ocean side pool is next to the restaurant and has a max depth of 7ft.

Very Nice Condo & Resort

Rented Unit 439 at Kaanapali Shores. It is a very nice condo with upgraded interior, furniture and amenities. It is listed as a garden view but one can see the ocean. The unit has a washer and dryer which is needed if you stay long enough. (The dryer is a bit noisy). The kitchen is well stocked (though we did see some grout coming up). Kaanapali Shores does not have a beach given the beach erosion . Not a problem if you know your way around the area. This rental was at a great price for a great condo.

Great island resort

We arrived about 4 hours early for check in and they were able to accommodate us and give us our room early. Very firefly courteous staff and a lot of amenities open to choose from. Beautiful property with koi fish and a lush garden. Beautiful rooms with full kitchen and even a washing machine for your close. All in all I would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo!

Wonderful place

Really enjoyed staying at this resort. The beds were extremely comfortable so we were able to get good rest and I appreciated the good quality pillows! The rooms are really clean and the pull out sofa was huge! The lanai was large and had a nice chaise for relaxing. The view was also nice. We ran the a/c one night then couldn’t get the little magnets to line up to make it work again (we could have called maintenance but didn’t) so we opened the bedroom window and the slider and it sent a really nice breeze thru the room. The grounds are immaculate and we loved the grassy area for the kids to run around on. The pool was wonderful and so were the drinks at the walk up bar. I’m a runner and the boardwalk path was fantastic to run on. We found lots of great beaches within walking distance. The workers at the resort were all really helpful and kind. We will return to this resort!! Wonderful experience. The only negatives were the pans in the room aren’t the best quality so it was difficult to cook and there is no maid serve and no broom so it was fairly sandy by the weeks end.

Nice resort !

Nice resort with beautiful grounds and two pools - one more for kids and families and one more for adults. No beach but within walking distance to beach. Good little restaurant on site with great happy hour deals. Our unit was spacious. Some things need a little updating like the lights in the bathroom. And our kitchen was basic so we were able to do a little breakfast and lunch but it's not really equipped for cooking a lot.

This is our third time staying there, we enjoy this place. The room number 411 that we were in this time needs a little bit of maintenance ( what I am referring by maintenance is: the pillows on the sofa we’re starting to come apart, the tub drain was very very slow, the ceiling tiles in the bathroom need to be put back in place the medicine cabinet was starting to rust and the carpet in the bedroom had quite a few stains)
