Lost power 4 days into stay.

Everything went well from the 3rd of August until the day the power went out and the fire ravaged Lahaina on the 8th.From there we lasted without power or communication ability for two days before we found reception on the beach and were lucky enough to get to Kihei on the 10th. Hope to leave for the mainland tonight on the 12th.

Worked well for our stay

My wife and I stayed at this condo for 5 nights and found it to be a good fit for our trip. We loved the patio watching the golfers. The unit was walkable to a few restaurants and the trolley to whalers village worked well. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, plates and cups. The beach club was nice, but they didn't provide umbrellas, so bring your own or buy one at Walmart when you leave the airport. Parking is not abundant directly in front of the unit. A few times we had to park in the parking garage and walk about 5 min back to the unit. Overall, it was a nice stay and we would return to this unit.

Had issue with Overzealous Property Security Guard

He (Roman) racially profiled me, accusing me of NOT being a guest, because I don't meet the white anglo profile (He boldly stated it). I had to insist (3x) that he check the Guest Roster, before he would actually admit to having one, let alone check the list to find my name. It was an "unfortunate" experience, but I chose to focus on the positives. I reported it to the Front Desk and GM but am not confident, much was done. Workers are in short supply on Maui.

LOVED IT!

We have stayed at many different places in Maui and this is by far our favorite! We have stayed at the Westin, the Marriott, the Sheraton, and the Honua Kai. Although those places offered fancier pools, the location, the quietness, the wonderful cabana on the beach has made this our favorite place. This unit is in a perfect location. We enjoyed watching the golfers in the morning while still getting our ocean view. We love that it had an electric barbecue on the lanai. The views were incredible with a little slice of heaven, we found! We will absolutely stay here again.

Ah, the view!

We try to visit Ka'anapali every couple of years and always stay at the Maui Eldorado. This unit has a great location - near the top of the rise so you get a view in two different directions and so it's a shorter walk to the Fairways Shops and Whaler's Village. The inside of the unit is comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We love that the complex has multiple pools and a cabana at the beach. The only downside to the complex, and this is NOT about the unit itself, is that the hot tub is above-ground, on the small side, and often full of small children. We couldn't bring ourselves to even get in this last time because the water quality looked compromised.

Peaceful with a nice view

The condo was clean and comfortable. We feel we found a great deal for the price. We liked how it was a short walk to many restaurants and activity, but then we could return to our peaceful place and sleep very well. Our beach associated with the resort’s cabana was also peaceful.
