This is the second time we have stayed here and it’s was as beautiful as the first. Randy and Mary are exceptional hosts who put a lot of thought and care into making our stay great. The lay out of their home is perfect with views in the living area and bedroom that both lead out to a wonderful lanai. The beach is right in front of you to swim walk or just relax. Beach chairs were also there for our use. Loved our stay and we will be back!

Perfect in every way

Great location for dinners on front street, snorkeling around black rock and shopping at whalers village. Great beachfront for the snorkelers and the ocean swimmers. Awesome pool access and can’t go wrong with Dukes restaurant on the property! Amazing stay!

Loved the cleanliness & layout of the condo, and ocean view was fantastic!! The grounds were picturesque and well taken care of! The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils/ small appliances and obviously stove and refrigerator,had our breakfast every morning on the balcony with the view of the ocean,Dukes food and ambiance was great!! Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella that came with condo supplies!Loved all of Randy/Mary recommendations for grocery shopping,restaurants,activities, etc, made for a very memorable trip,would seriously consider another trip in the future at the same condo!!

Wonderful stay! Fantastic ocean view. Comfortable beds including pull out coach. Well equipped kitchen to cook meals at the condo, great beach equipment (4 chairs / 2 boogie boards), and plenty of extras like paper towels, plastic bags, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies etc. extra towels, sheets. Great stay!

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It faces a small beach access road lined with trees and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to all the bird songs. The owners provide lots of great advice on things to do which we appreciated. The pools were great and we were always able to find open lounge chairs (November).

Great place - highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at Randy and Mary's place. The resort had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Easy access to pools on the property and the beach. Randy and Mary were extremely helpful and gave us an incredible amount of information about the area. Definitely a return location!

Wonderful Honua Kai Stay

My husband and I stayed at Randy and Mary's property at Honua Kai for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a beautiful condo and in a perfect location overlooking the ocean! Our hosts thought of everything- from making recommendations about restaurants, day trips, shopping, snorkeling to gifting us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, the communication could not have been better. We would highly recommend this property!

The hosts are amazing! Before even getting to the island the hosts provide all the recommendations you could need from restaurants to snorkeling to hikes and more. Condo is everything that is described. The owners graciously provide the little thing that most other condo owners seem to not. I highly recommend this condo. We will be rebooking this room in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the condo.

Excellent place to stay!

Loved this resort and our room. We are pretty picky about where we stay so we were very pleased to find this condo was as lovely as pictured! It smelled clean, ac worked great, beds were comfortable, and had an amazing view. Randy was so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. He provided us with loads of recommendations on food, activities, shopping, and site seeing. Thank you so much for making our first trip to Hawaii absolutely amazing!!

Awesome Trip

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo. It was in the perfect location, clean and had everything we needed. The entire family enjoyed the pools, beach, and scenery. Randy was super awesome in sharing recommendations which helped us with our planning. We will definitely request this condo when we come back. Randy and Mary you’re amazing! Absolutely Loved Our Stay – Perfect Maui Getaway!We had a fantastic experience staying at this condo in Maui. The views were stunning—sunrises with coffee and breakfast were a daily highlight. The space is large, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay.The amenities were top-notch, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach gear, comfortable bed, and a peaceful lanai to relax on. The owners take pride in keeping everything in great shape.We also really appreciated the local tips and recommendations from Randy—they made a big difference in helping us enjoy the island like locals.Overall, this place is a great value, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on a future trip to Maui. Highly recommend!

Awesome Unit

We love to stay at Honua Kai Resort. This unit was no disappointment and lived up to the listing. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular. The room itself offers everything you need while on vacation. The owner of the unit Randy of Maui Nuts is easy to work with. When we return to Maui I'll be looking to rent this condo again.

The best spring break family getaway

MauiNuts were such gracious hosts. We were welcomed with local flowers and a very beautiful and organized condo. The condo offered all the things we needed for a family of four for the week. From the time we booked the condo, the communication and recommendations for meals and activities was amazing. The recommendations kept on coming during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home.
