Captain Jack's Restaurant on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. The view was fabulous. It was nice having the many amenities available at the complex.The grills for guests to use were very clean.The property is a little outdated and could use a freshening up, but overall it was comfortable and spacious enough for a group of 4 adults.It was understood by the listing that post-covid, there wouldn't really be anything in the kitchen other than dishes and cookware, which is fine since we usually buy our own spices and pantry items.I was wishing there would have been foil, plastic wrap and those sorts of products available as have always been in every rental I've ever stayed at.But overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Wind tunnel!

This property is older and it shows. Unit 336 has had kitchen and baths updated, but the beds in the 2nd bedroom are old and hard. The couch is ancient and you sink to the springs. The bath amenities are miniscule, watery liquid soap at the sinks and one quarter size soap, and this was for 4 days. One mini shampoo, no lotion or anything else. The biggest issue though is the unrelenting wind noise that has a constant whirling sound despite closed windows.

Spacious clean rental with all the amenities, including beach items. King bed was comfortable and pull out bed was as good as a pull out bed can be but unfortunately the queen and single beds were not very comfortable and could use updating. Balcony was beachfront where we watched whales and sea turtles daily. Perfect location, great condo resort!

Amazing!

The condo and view are amazing! It was not a problem not having air conditioning, just left the doors open and it was cool enough. The heated pools and hot tub were great! Easy access to the beach. Will definitely come back again!

Absolutely perfect!

Initially, completely reluctant to even rent, but we were running out of good options. I am so glad we did, it was truly perfect!!! Probably the closest we have been to the beach ever. Our lanai and living room faced the ocean so we slept with the doors and windows open to hear the waves. Tutles right in the waters and one came onto the beach at night. Great little restaurant and bar in front of the pool overlooking the ocean. . .fully stocked kitchen. My only complaint was the spare beds were poor. The master was excellent. Two people slept on the couch rather than the spare beds. Would stay here again anytime!!!

Wow what a view

When I first looked at this place online, I passed over it. A few weeks later it popped up again. So not sure I wanted to book it because of the price and pictures. But I went ahead and did. When I walked through the door to the condo I was blown away. Two very large windows look right out to the ocean. Whales jumping right out of the water that you can see from both the master bedroom and the living room right back to the kitchen the kids room was in the back with their own bathroom. The kitchen had everything you need to hit the Costco on the way in and save eating out money. You don't want to miss the view. The owners have lots of beach stuff here but bring stuff to add to it the pill of fun stuff. What I would have liked to see, Updated tv in the living room for nighttime and maybe some board games. I think the owner should put in a sunshade for the sunset because the house can get blinding at that time and you need to close the blinded for an hour or so. I do think 3,200 is a little high for 4 days. I do get it's the view but I would have booked weeks ago if the price was a few hundred less. I will come back but when the price is lower. Thanks again

Hawaii Getaway

Renting this property was extremely easy. Sullivan Properties made the whole process seamless. The view at the condo was perfect, which made for great evening sunset viewing. The condo was nice but could use some upgrading. The property in Kahana is a great location and I would definitely stay there again.

Disappointing and deceiving customer service and practices

I was very disappointed in Sullivan Properties for not honoring their contract for a property I rented recently. They demonstrated shady practices of off-loading their VRBO fees in a separate charge, even though we had written confirmation from Kelly (Sullivan Properties) that stated ALL fees and taxes were included in our new, negotiated price. I agreed to rent from Sullivan (even though I had another comparable rental option at a much lower price) because I thought that "ALL fees and taxes included" simply meant what it explicitly stated: ALL means ALL. But after we booked, we found out Sullivan Properties decided to take advantage of the situation, and separate out the VRBO fee, which was a material amount. At a minimum, Sullivan Properties should have let me know that their definition of "ALL fees and tax included" actually had this significant caveat, but I believe they intentionally and deliberately did not do so. Had they been an honest merchant, they would have made every effort to resolve this (from a customer-centric, user experience point of view, because how could they assume we would know this additional charge was not included in their illogical definition of "ALL fees and taxes included'? The process to resolve this was unfortunately more frustrating. I gave them ample opportunities to resolve this, and if they were truly sorry for being deceptive, they would have made a concession of apology, some form of refund, but they just continued to pass the buck to one service agent to another. I certainly don’t understand their tag-line of a family-run for the past 30 years and "built on a solid reputation of trust and satisfaction with the West Maui community!” It’s very unfortunate that Sullivan Properties did not honor their word, and how they took advantage of me once they got their money.

We chose this property because it showed sand volleyball. The beach was washed away. The waitresses at the beach house bar and grill were very rude. It would be nice to order a drink at the beach house and drink it by the pool. The condo was very nice, however, very warm. Next time staying at a place with air conditioning.
