Kona Condo - Ocean Front Complex - Amazing Ocean View & Beach View !!!

Thanks for your inquiry on our Kona Condo.

Our unit, B25, is a comfortable one bedroom, one bath unit that is located on the 3rd floor of the Oceanfront Kona Reef Complex. Be sure to check the 360 video tour to see the features and a complete tour of this lovely unit. The link is the arrow or partial image to the left of the main picture above. The complex offers an oceanfront swimming pool, spa and direct access to the beach plus a great common-area barbeque. Great place for sunsets!! The living room has a queen sofa sleeper, stereo/TV/DVD/VCR/cable, and access to a lanai with great ocean views. There is a full bath with tub and complete kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all other utensils. A washer/dryer and air conditioner are in the unit also.

The condo is approximate 3/4 mile from Kailua-Kona and shopping, and less than 10 minutes from two of the Island's best beaches including, Magic Sands Beach and Kahaluu Beach Park, which offers some of the best snorkeling available on the Island. We frequently walk into town for coffee and restaurants. If you have not been to Kona before we suggest that you get a copy of the book we mention on our web page Hawaii The Big Island Revealed – The Ultimate Guidebook” We call this “THE GOOD BOOK” – it is always accurate and provides a wide variety of Island experience options – be sure to look for the “Real Gems”.

Beau condo, vue incroyable.

Condo très bien situé, à quelques minutes du village et de tous les restaurants. La vue sur la plage est incroyable!! La propreté du condo est le seul point négatIf de cette location. Nous avons fait un petit ménage en arrivant et relavé les planchers mais au-delà de cet inconvénient, tout était parfait.

The room was clean, we had a shower, no tub, but the pool and hot tub were nice. The other visitors were also great and enjoyable to chat with.Great views, nice location and the host was quick to respond and recommend activities.

I try to never leave poor reviews. Unfortunately, however, there was no ocean or beach view when I stayed. I was not told until after booking nonrefundable stay that they were working on the outside of the building. Upon checkin I told the host about the scaffolding still up and blocking, that it would be removed the next day. Needless to say it was not. They were banging and grinding outside during daylight the entire time we were there. In addition to the noise and blocking of the view, we were not even able to go out our door onto the patio. Once the workers knew we were in the unit, they made a barrier so we were unable to even open the patio door. As the unit had no windows it left us with only one exit. I don’t know what their fire codes are, but I can’t imagine it’s up to code leaving only one accessible exit. Upon speaking to the workers, they informed us they were weeks from being complete and the property was well aware of the fact. Before leaving a review I did reach out to the owner with my concerns, and just received a “thanks for letting him know.” If I had known the property was being worked on I would have booked somewhere else, as there were several similar properties in the area for the same price.

Great location with the little beach right there; but it is not an easy swimming beach. Well equipped and a nice Brita water pitcher in the fridge. Easy walk to beach restaurants and some shops.

Great location! Kitchen had everything you needed. Loved the fact they had laundry soap and shampoo. House has great lanai with comfortable furniture. Some suggestions to add would be shorter beach chairs, the ones that come with the condo are tall and cannot be used at the beach unless you sit in the back of the beach, so we had to rent chairs which was kinda a bummer. They did have an umbrella. Also lots of ice trays to make ice which was really handy. No extra blankets were provided, for the fold out sleeper. Other than that the place is great! We have stayed at Kona Reef multiple times and this was one of our favorite condos.

We are grateful for our stay in Kona-the well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook all our dinners “at home” while minutes walk for city center. The porch overlooking the beach made for lovely family dinners while allowing us to feel connected with the sea from here we made forays to Kealakakua bay, Waimea, Kohala, Hawi, and of course Puʻukoholā Heiau. Sincere thanks for use of this lovely property.

Amazing Ocean view

This was my second stay at this property. And though it's a little more worn than last year it's still an amazing find. My only real complaint was the homeless camp set up on the beach that disrupted the view somewhat. The pool area is wonderful and it's very close to town. I will stay there again. thatthat mared
