Enjoy the private lanai across from iconic Magic Sands Beach. Central air conditioning and all the amenities you need for a relaxing Hawaii vacation. Upon entry, you are welcomed by the Hawaii vibe throughout. Kick back in the Primary ensuite on the queen bed, enjoy the cold air conditioning, and watch some television. There is ample space to unpack your belongings in the closet and chested drawers. The bathroom has a newly tiled walk-in shower. Across the hall is the guest bedroom, with two twin beds. The guest bathroom is located down the hall and has a tub shower combination.The kitchen has an open layout to the living room, dining area, and lanai. The kitchen is newly upgraded with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and easy-to shut drawers. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the gadgets any home chef needs while cooking up dinner. You can dine inside at the dining table, centrally located off the kitchen, or enjoy the Kona weather and dine outside!The living room area has ample seating for you and your guests. If you need a break from the sun, take the day and enjoy the central air conditioning and the flat-screen television. You can stream a show on your Netflix account or watch cable. The couch has a queen sleeper sofa.The large lanai allows for privacy, and you can enjoy a peek-a-boo ocean view. Sit and listen to the birds wake up while enjoying some Kona Coffee. There is seating on the lanai and places to get cozy with a book. We know you will enjoy your stay at this beautiful Kona Condo.White Sands Village is located just across from Kailua Kona's Magic Sands Beach on the iconic Alii Drive. Conveniently located across the street from Magics Beach Grill as well, you are a short stroll away from some of the best food and drink on the Kona coast. Whether you are looking for a morning cup of Kona coffee at Magics Beach Shack, or an inspired meal made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients for lunch or dinner, there is something for everybody moments away from your doorstep.Additional dining and shopping can be found within a few miles in either direction. Find local gifts, fruits, and more at one of the many farmers' markets throughout the week. This is also located on the running portion of the Ironman World Championship course.Please note:
-There are steps to elevator and to unit.
-The lanai is not childproof.
-This home has central AC.
- There is a washer and dryer in unit.***At this time the tennis courts located within the complex are not usable as they were undergoing renovation and the work had to be stopped to research possible archeological impacts of the project. We are sorry for any inconvenience.*****The Hawai'i County Department of Parks and Recreation closed La'aloa Beach Park (the closed parking lot including the cultural sites along the water that are across from the Keauhou Bldg driveway). The south end of Magic Sands Beach Park is also closed for construction improvements. Both projects will run concurrently and are expected to be completed in approximately 7-8 months. The beach portion of the park remains open and Water Safety Officers of the Hawai'i Fire Department continue their oversight of ocean activities there.While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

Great Spot by Magic Sands

Great condo, with a large lanai with morning and early afternoon sun. Magic Sands is directly across the street (3 min walk). Instacart delivered groceries to the address no issue. I'd stay here again. Notes, not complaints: The stove is induction and was somewhat fussy to cook with, enough so I started to avoid it and planned BBQ, oven or meats/cheese/olives instead. It was partially my inexperience, but it seemed to not work well with the pans provided. Also needs a peeler and cheese grater.

Great location

We loved the location and that we could see whales from the balcony most mornings. The location was a bit quieter than the more northern part of Ali’i Drive. We also loved having access to the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, when we checked in the dishwasher wasn’t working and the fridge was missing two shelves, which made it awkward to use. During our stay the vent hood also malfunctioned, which meant we couldn’t use the vent hood while cooking or the microwave at all. Property management was quick to respond but the kitchen wasn’t as use-able as we had wanted. We’d stay there again.

Grandkids first visit to Hawaii

Condo has been nicely renovated. Well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and snorkel gear. Kitchen is well stocked, including a pantry with lots of goodies in it.

Great condo

A few things could be better like the bed was too soft for us and the fan above the bed is not the best. Noisy from time to time. The dishwasher had some issues. It was having trouble draining and was leaking.

Perfectly fine

Meets pretty much with what everyone else has said about property. Location is perfect. Condo itself is good, updated kitchen, roomy and decorated. There were some minor issues discovered throughout stay. Dishwasher is a challenge to work (possibly leaks a bit?) but did its job. Management was great about getting us a coffee grinder immediately (BIG Thanks! I mean we are in Kona ;). other issues called on like the ceiling fan in primary room makes squeaking, grinding noise, and wobbles when on high, maintenance came and looked at and said it needed replaced. So we used AC more than usual. Further investigation showed a blade is missing a screw, push the blade back where it belongs, run on low and works fine for cooling. The kettle was killed and left on counter by a prior guest (Its tucked away in cupboard now). There is no bed coverlet for primary bed, which is really odd, Just a sheet (the twin beds had nice tropical coverlets). We let Mgmt. know but as we didn't say we needed one (there were spare blankets that worked fine) nothing was suggested or done by Mngmt. I truly hated calling on any of these things but also didn't want to be blamed. Mngmt. did reach out quickly but essentially with a "let us know what we can do". We didn't "Need" a bed cover or a kettle and I resolved the fan issue on own so never asked management to fix anything except for the fan which we never heard back on. Having an owner and a manager to contact is tedious but I guess it all part and parcel for rentals (like the construction next door for a few days). Its a balancing act for owners and renters! Other items; Condo could use a vacuum (there is carpeting and a rug but only a broom for cleaning up with and we were here 3 weeks), more silverware (we kept running out in a day with 4 adults). The tennis courts no longer exist and should be noted on listing. Of note, all cookware is stainless steel, lots of spices and cooking utensils. There is a wonderful sturdy manual juicer and if we'd thought about it earlier would highly recommend getting fruits to juice. There are pool towels (NOT Beach towels just regular towels). One good heavy odd shaped cooler and lots of ice packs (A lighter beach cooler would be nice). Never used but looked like one boogie board, umbrella and pool floaties were available too. Love having a washer and dryer. Thought Beds and couch were fine. Overall good value for a great location. Would stay here again

Pleasant stay

Modernized kitchen. Nice walk in shower and Bidet in master bath. Lots of pool/beach toys. No real complaints that lose any stars. Feedback: This unit could use more kitchen spices. I’m used to using some of the left behinds salt/pepper/sugar/foil etc
. from other VRBO renters or owners and then me adding to their supply for a few of my purchaseswhen I leave
there’s just a trust system with VRBO renters when it comes to that kind of stuff
 there was good coffee though!!!! Also beach towels. This unit only had two older beach towels. Wasn’t a huge problem since we could buy them anywhere but I was caught off guard on the first beach day by the lack of beach towels. Again, nothing so bad that it lowers my rating of the place. Just a little feedback. I would definitely stay here again. Family of 5 and everybody enjoyed every night of the the stay.

Great Condo to See All the Sites Around Kona

This was such a great place for our family of six to stay. We spent 5 nights here and were able to hit all the major sites on the Kona side of the Island. It was also great to just walk across the street and enjoy Magic Sands beach. Great place!

This property worked perfectly for our stay. It had plenty of room for our family and was in a centrally located location to get to the beaches we wanted to visit. Plenty of places to eat nearby too. The condo was quiet and fully stocked with all the amenities needed for a week's vacation. The only issue we encountered was the carafe on the coffee pot - the housekeeper brought one to us on the first day because the original was damaged when she cleaned and it was actually too small. We had to improvise in order to get the pot to work, but definitely not a major issue. Very happy with our stay and made our first time on the Big Island enjoyable! Mahalo! :)

Excellent stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Hawaii, visiting our son who is volunteering with an organization here. The location was excellent and the condo unit met all of our needs. We enjoyed the pool, the bbq and the proximity to great beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed many wonderful day trips. It would have been great to have access to a few beach chairs, but that certainly did not detract from our stay!
