The Space:
This beautifully decorated studio is fully equipped and set to offer you relaxing moments next to the olive groves and opposite the imposing Taygetos mountain range. The open plan living area features a comfortable single sofa bed, a double sleeping area, and a fully functional kitchen with a dining table. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washing machine, and hot water available all day long. The studio is air-conditioned, making it a comfortable choice all year round.

Located less than a km away from the city centre of Kalamata and 2.5 hours from Athens, the house is accessible by public bus and car. Transportation in the area is also available by taxi. A playpen and a high chair for babies are also available upon request.


The spacious veranda is the perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful views of the adjacent olive groves and the never-ending green of the opposing mountains. Fast Wi-Fi is included, as well as a free private garage for your convenience.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located in a calm neighbourhood full of greenery, which is ideal for romantic walks and relaxing bike rides between the olive and orange groves. It's just a 10-minute walk to long beach and the city center. The neighbourhood has supermarkets for your daily groceries, traditional taverns, cafés and bars, a public sports centre, and numerous walking routes. The local university is within a 5-minute walk.

Wander through the old side of the city (1.3km) with its picturesque alleys, traditional shops, and taverns. Visit the imposing Venetian castle or the museums and enjoy the vivid nightlife that the city has to offer. You will find a modern art gallery, a history and cultural museum, the old town office, and the municipal theatre.

On the west side of the city's seafront, you will find the local marina (2.3km), offering several touristic facilities and cafés and restaurants. Take a relaxing walk in the railway park, which is an outdoor train museum (1.5km).

Participate in one of the local events such as the Annual Dance Festival (recurring every summer), the summer theatrical shows and concerts at the old amphitheatre of the castle, the International Documentary Festival, or the local carnival festivities in Kalamata and Messini.

The region is well-recommended for all seasons of the year due to its mild Mediterranean climate, not only for relaxation but also for many activities such as mountaineering, mushroom hunting, trekking and hiking, cycling, paragliding, and sea sports.

There are numerous beaches in the greater region apart from the city's beautiful beach, such as Verga (8km), Mikri Mantinia (10km), Avia (12km), Santova (17km), Kitries (17km), most of them offering excellent touristic infrastructure and entertainment options during the summer months.

The town of Messini (11km) with its town hall and museum of engraving, as well as its sandy beach, is worth a visit. Ancient Messini (33km) is another notable attraction, featuring prominent ancient Greek culture. The mountainous villages along the Taygetos range on the way to Sparta offer extraordinary natural beauty, and Polilimnio (34km) has numerous waterfalls.

The Venetian Castles and beautiful beaches of Koroni (55km), Pylos (48km), and Methoni (56km) are all worth exploring, along with the infamous beaches of Voidokilia (60km) and Chrysi Ammos (62km). The picturesque villages of Kardamili (38km) and Stoupa (43km) with their unique beaches are also nearby.

Kalamata also has an international airport (8km) for those travelling from further away.

Getting Around:
Free and safe parking is available in the area. Public transportation stops are located only 300m away, providing easy access to the city. Taxis are also a convenient and affordable means of transportation in the city.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are kindly requested to avoid dropping solids down the drainage either in the kitchen sink or the bathroom, in order to avoid pipe blockage. This is true throughout the city network.
