Outside, the full splendour of Lake Vänern awaits you. Take your garden chairs onto the private bathing jetty and breathe in the fresh air. Or jump straight into the refreshing water. Find the best fishing spots and try your luck. What could be better than catching your own dinner? Drive to nearby Lidköping, which used to be a porcelain stronghold. Today, the former Rörstrand porcelain factory is a museum with a café. And take a guided tour of the well-preserved baroque Läckö Castle, which sits enthroned on the banks of Lake Vänern.
