Our room was spacious and well stocked with all the necessities. The Kanazawa castle is a 10-min walk while the Omicho market is just 4 mins. away. We also loved the private onsen at the property.

Smoke smell

While the staff were all super helpful and pleasant, I would not recommend this hotel. The entrance to the room area had a courtyard with a smoking area and the entire space smelled like cigarettes, which you had to walk through to get to the elevator.

Matsui Garden Magic

Fabulous hotel with great facilities. The Onsen was relaxing and spacious with a great view. The breakfast buffet was perfect with so much choice. Happy hour available and Dinner option was open u til late. Location was excellent with loop bus stop outside of the hotel. Everything you want to see is within easy reach.

Excellent option for Kanazawa

This hotel was a real find for the price. Excellent location, very spacious and comfortable tooms, gorgeous onsen, and extremely friendly staff. This was one of our top hotels in a 3 week trip. We did not book breakfast so I cannot talk about that but we would 100% stay again if back in Kanazawa.

The hotel was beautiful and the service superb. Rooms were lovely would stay here again in a heartbeat. The breakfast was the best we have had while in Japan so far .

Comfortable and conveniently located.

Spacious, comfortable. Kanazawa is so compact that all the major sights are a short walk away. The breakfast was great!
