I’ll be honest, the room is nice. Well furnished, a small balcony, includes fridge and microwave. One caveat: Sonesta charges a $100 security deposit ON TOP OF the nightly room rate. You know that charge came out of my account in a hot second and it will take 3-4 days to be returned once I check out. This was a huge surprise to me and as someone who travels on a budget, it was not a pleasant surprise. Maybe they share that on their website, I don’t know bc I booked through Travelocity. I was NOT HAPPY to have that little nugget dropped literally at the front desk as I was checking in. Aside from that, the room is clean and comfortable, and the one staff person I spoke to was professional and nice.

Everything was acceptable and fine. Breakfast is very simple. Room was clean.

Place needs help

Im disabled, called the hotel 2 days asked if they had accessable rooms and if their pool was open. Since in my downtime I need to do aquatic therapy for my condition. I was told yes they had rooms, and the pool was open.. I get here to check in, they only had 1 accessable rooms, and the pool had been down for good while. I get to my room, ..it was dirty... There was dirty wash towels hanging in the shower. But this was my only option since they only had this one room. I shouldn't have to rinse down my shower before I can use it. The shower did work, but the drain kept backing up. I understand mistakes happen... But while the front desk clerk was very kind, he was just very nonchalant about the problems. And 100$ security fee?... Yes it's common for places to have a card on file for incidentals, but I had to pay a security fee on my card, then upon check out I got that back...100$ ?? Holy cow..how antiquated. I contacted hotel management via hotels.com.at the start of my stay bringing up these concerns.. and no response... So folks.. I would not stay here. My business trip has gone long, and rather than extending my stay here.. I'm moving hotels...I'm sorry I hate being nasty and mean in a review..but even if all the issues happened, the least they could have done was reach out or try to make it right...

Decent place to stay, get extra towels when you book though, they want advance notice.
