Issues with Amenities

Location of unit was easy to get to many things on the island and close to shopping and restaurants. The unit itself was well furnished and decorated and fairly clean. They provided chairs, umbrella, cooler and sand toys which was a big plus! Beyond that amenities for the building had issues. We had a delay in our arrival and tried to called after hours security upon check in, they do not pickup their phones. Trying to figure out how to pay for laundry was a nightmare and expensive and property management has no idea and provides the wrong information. Pool was dirty and full of bugs. I ended up developing a rash after staying on this property. Hot tub was not working.

Clean and fresh getaway!

This place was very clean and convenient! Check in was very simple, and we were pleasantly surprised by the size and style! The location was great and near a little shopping area. The easy access to the beach was also a pleasant surprise. We would happily stay here again!

This property is perfect for you if you’re looking for something affordable, stylish, and conveniently located. It is not the best choice for those wanting to be beachside on a picture perfect shore. We were traveling with the goal to hike and snorkel all over the island, so it wasn’t as big a deal where we stayed! We loved how cute the decor was and having a kitchen :)

Cute, clean place

This was a great stay for us. The place is super cute (matches the pictures) and well-equipped. The bed is comfy and the A/C is a relief. I especially liked the guestbook with local recommendations. Definitely recommend!

Vacation at Plantation Hale

This is a well maintained older property. It is not a beach resort, not convenient to the beach, but you can get there. The kitchen and bath are updated and nice. The unit is very clean and quiet. The king bed has a very comfortable memory foam mattress that I would give an A+. The sleeper sofa and chair are very uncomfortable. Plantation Hale is located next to the Coconut Marketplace which has lots of shopping etc. Long's Drug and Safeway are just down the street. It is a nice place to stay if you are not expecting the beach at your doorstep. It has several nice pools.

Great location for being on the east side. The place was beautiful, clean and spacious. I loved and got to enjoy the jacuzzi after my long hikes. The ladies at the Garden suites were really helpful. Connected me with a concierge Derek who was amazing in guiding me on tours and excursions and so much more. Overall I would stay here again.

Great central location

The condo was newly renovated and lovely, with lots of accommodations like beach chairs, towels, parasol, etc. While there is no view of the beach, beach access is just a short walk away--pro tip, grab a coffee and sticky bun at Imua and enjoy breakfast on the beach! The full kitchen was a great way to save funds for more adventures vs eating out the whole trip. Great central location to both the North and South sides of the island. Kapaa seems more local and less touristy, with lots of beaches and activities nearby.

A great place with all the essentials

This property is an easy walk to the beach, the store, and is stocked with all the basics (with the exception of basic spices/cooking ingredients). The place was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, well-appointed condo. Centrally located!

Location was perfect for us; walkable to shops, and right in between major tourist areas. Property itself was clean, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches - it's clear the owners pay attention to what their guests want. Great spot to stay in Kauai, thank you!

Location, location, location Kapaa

Wonderful ground floor unit with all amenities needed for our great stay. Would have appreciated knowing about construction wall along the entire block across from the units...rather an eye sore. Enjoyed the convenience of walking to grocery and eateries as we did not have a car. Pools were nice, clean and not crowded. All in all a satisfying stay in paradise.
