If you want to observe sea turtles, you can see them from the shores of Honokeana Bay just south of Napili Bay - or you can jump in the warm water to see them up close. Just to the north, you can snorkel, scuba dive or even rent a sea kayak or stand up paddle board and explore the reefs at Napili and Kapalua Bays. And don't forget to body surf, boogie board, on the great sandy shores of Napili Bay. Great surfing is just a short drive north to Honolua Bay. The complex is also surrounded by the Kapalua Golf Club Bay Course. The Kapalua Adventure center offers many great trails for free hiking.

Various local businesses and many fine restaurants such as Merrimans at Kapalua, The Sea House at Napili Kai, are walking distance as well as, the 5 star, full service Montage Spa and Fitness Center at the Montage Kapalua Bay. Plenty of casual dining options as well such as the famous The Gazebo, Fond, Joey's Kitchen, Maui Brewing Company, and a complete local grocery store, Napili Market, if you choose to grill or cook at your vacation home.
