It’s fine for a stay in Karlstad, easy walking distance to both the main area but also nice walks along the river etc. Very basic hotel, not totally clean but ok. Breakfast was alright but nothing special. Not bad value for money for a city stay.

GOOD MORNING KATLSTAD!

The hotel looks lovely and as a place to rest your head it worked, the rooms were a bit snug but again as a place to sleep and wash its good, the problem is that the duvet for 2 people just cover 1 and the mattress was so thin you may as well just sleep on the floor (which on one night I did). The bright side the staff there are lovely and the hotels location was brilliant. I wouldn’t say no to staying there again but honestly it won’t be my first choice.

The breakfast was good. We would have been happy with our stay if the room would have had AC. As it was, it was very hot and the oxygen in the room didn't last very long. It is possible to open the windows, but since the hotel is in the city center, there was loud noise at least until two in the night (we stayed during a weekend). So we could not sleep very well.

Good hotel, great location

Family friendly hotel in central Karlstad. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The room size was good with plenty of storage. Bathroom was clean however the shower could've had a better tray/floor as it was hard not to create a lake. Cleaners came daily and it was dry when we came back in the evenings, with fresh towels and bed made. Breakfast was typically Swedish with kaviar, youghurt, eggs, bacon, bread and fruit. The hotel was undergoing renovations but we barely noticed it as they probably did it during the day.

Hyfsat men inte värt priset.

Trevlig personal och Ligger centralt. I övrigt var det under förväntan för 1500 sek. Kalt rum utan matta, tavlor etc. Inget mysigt. liten frukostsal, fullt och folk fick vända. Personalen gjorde vad de kunde. Detta är inget weekendhotel.
