My partner and I had a wonderful stay from 27/12 to 10/01 at Mandarava. We had the simplest Tropicana room but it felt as luxurious. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff are amazing and always willing to help. Car to and from the beach is very convenient. Pool is great. Restaurant is delicious. Breakfast has many options to choose from. Nothing to complain about. Hotel location may put some down as it is hilly but this did not affect us.

4 night stay at the start of our honeymoon. Bedroom and other parts of hotel were spotlessly clean. Staff friendly & welcoming. Breakfast buffet was very good in terms of choice and taste - regularly replenished. Very hilly resort hotel, so check out options if you have mobility problems. We had one maintenence problem with the ceiling fan during our stay, but it was dealt with efficiently, and hotel staff could not apologize enough. They left a bouquet of flowers in our room by way of apology, and even offered to change our room including an upgrade. We declined, as we only had 2 nights left, plus the problem had been fully resolved without any inconvenience to us. Hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from a few local shops, restaurants and massage parlours, and only about 10-15 minutes walk to Karon Beach and the town centre.

We spent 5 nights here and on arrival were upgraded from Sea Fan Deluxe to a Coral room. This was right at the top of the resort by the banana pool. Room 6202. The coconut pool was also closer by but we preferred the banana as it was so much quieter with a nice sunbed area. Buggies to get around the resort are great as it is very steep and a long walk without. Rooms were great size, good bathroom and stunning sea views. Staff are super helpful and the resort is really well maintained. Great location with 5 minute walk into Karon

I had Tik, I always left feeling so relaxed Room: I had a Tropical room not too far from the main lobby which was great. Be prepared to walk in this hotel, I would say that’s its major downfall alongside some areas that could use renovating Food: breakfast had its standard American items, mixed with cultural dishes which was nice to have some variety. Dinner and room service was great with the choices of Thai food or American style cuisines

Everything about this property was spectacular. The staff was so kind and so friendly. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. The room was completely clean, spacious and lovely. Great stay the Mandarava!! Rooms were very spacious, clean, and nice. Views spectacular. Pools were awesome and many to choose from. Restaurants and food were very good. Resort in walking distance to beach with a shuttle also provided. Staff was fantastic!! And the spa was very impressive also.
