The only complaint we had was the time it took to get the elevator and getting to the other floors. We and other guests got very frustrated. Otherwise, nice visit.

This property is very neat because it's in a Historical Building that is in walking distance to shopping and food/desserts! We did hear the traffic while trying to sleep. The parking with loading/unloading luggage can be tricky. If the spots in front of the hotel are taken (as they are public pay-to-park) then you may be walking a little bit of a distance. I heard you have a 15 min. parking grace period for checking in. There is free guest parking on the top of a garage behind the business parking lot in the rear.
Caution: with this historical beautiful building comes "ghosts" activity.
I think this property is very nice and clean and the staff are wonderful!
We really enjoyed the continental breakfast. The exercise room is nice as well.
Lastly, we did experience loud noises above us for hours through the night. (kids running around?) The staff was apologetic.

Thank you for your review. The parking situation is dictated to us by the City of Keene. We do lease the spaces in the parking garage, but the city will not let us lease any spaces on Main Street. We are trying to work with the city, but they are reluctant to address the parking problems.

Beautiful town. Hard mattress.

When asking for a table she rolled her eyes that we have to be kidding her. We ended up somewhere else. Hotel is loud from the street. And the bed is very uncomfortable. The pull out sofa also uncomfortable. Not terrible for one night. It’s clean and has great service. Everyone provides information about the town.

Thank you for your review.I have heard similar comments about the restaurant in the last couple of days. The restaurant is separately owned, we least the space to them. I will speak with the manager over there to make her aware of your experience.We recently ordered new mattresses for the sofa beds, we are awaiting their arrival. New mattresses for the beds are in the process of being sourced out. and all mattresses will be swapped out during our upcoming renovations.
