A comfortable stay with friendly staff. There was nothing special about the stay. We were expecting more for $300.00 a night. Comparable to a good motel. Why so expensive?

Good for the basics

The construction was quite noisy and continued past the time they said it would and there was a lot of noise from the hallway (kids playing hockey in the hall for the afternoon) but the room seemed clean. No microwave in the room but we used one in the lobby. It would have been nice to have a coffee/tea station in the lobby or at least a water dispenser. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful

Unfortunately there was a group attending a wedding. Thin walls, so it made for a very early Morning wake up to people talking, shouting, doors banging from 5:30am to 7:30 am. Fitness equipment dated.

One slow elevator, then haul luggage upstairs when you get to the floor. Never mentioned until you are at the base of the stairs with the luggage cart. Sketchy neighborhood, so, bringing everything in is the only wise option. They emphasize that they are not responsible for loss or damage.

The staff were great, but the hotel as a whole needs a lot of work. Our room was huge which was a bonus, but the carpet was dirty, the bathroom toiler paper holder was filthy and rusted, the bath tub was stained and grout was very dirty. The pool water was very cloudy but not from salt (maybe chemicals were unbalanced), there was a big section of broken tile on the pool edge that was a hazard. The grout in and around the pool was VERY dirty and gross.
