Bed and Breakfast au cœur de Kelso

Il nous a présenté les lieux et nous a conseillé une balade afin de découvrir l’Abbaye de Dryburgh et ses environs. Il nous a également recommandé quelques restaurants pour le soir.
Nous avions la chambre familiale : un très grand lit double et 2 lits une personnes dans une autre pièce. La literie était bonne.
La salle de bain, assez petite, comprenait une douche, un évier et un lavabo.
Le seul reproche était le petit déjeuner. Le buffet est composé de toasts blancs et complets, de yaourts et fruits en bocaux, de confitures, miel et curd en bocaux, de céréales. Robin nous propose de cuisiner pour nous : le Scottish breakfast traditionnel, du haddock fumé avec des œufs pochés, du saumon fumé avec des œufs brouillés, ... Trop poivré et pas trop notre truc !

Thank you for your review,
I can't think of anything else we could have offered for breakfast that we don't already do, 5 choices of cooked foodcis more than most B&B's offer, you could have had continental if you had talked to me, as it says on the menu. I would not be crass enough to offer croissants to a French family as yours are so much better than the ones we buy, and when all is said and done, we offer Scottish food.As well as that we have 5 types of fruit, 7 cereals and porridge, 3 types of bread and 5 jams, honey and marmalades.
Perhaps you viewed us as a hotel, which we are not.

Host was very laid back and friendly. Breakfast was very good. A very pretty quiet small village.

Excellent stay, very relaxing. The beds are very comfortable, breakfast is super and plentiful. The room had a view over the very pleasant garden and all run by a very congenial host.

Robin was a superb host and his property is lovely. By far the best place we stayed in for our week around the Scottish Borders. When our son left his wallet behind with all of his spending money, Robin found it and immediately mailed it back to the US for our son! Thank you for going above and beyond for our family!

Robin was great. Room and food were lovely. Obviously takes real pride in his guesthouse and the house and garden were beautiful. 100% would stay again
